Jhanak On Starlife Thursday 12th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Aditya announcing that Jhanak has agreed to marry him and live with him. Anirudh looks at Jhanak silently, clearly affected. Bipasha whispers to someone to observe Anirudh closely and not let Jhanak suspect anything. Anirudh, still shocked, says Jhanak didn’t speak to him at all. Aditya explains that she’s just tense and asks Anirudh not to bring it up with her. He promises to take care of Jhanak, help her achieve fame, and invites Anirudh to visit them in Mumbai. As Jhanak performs the aarti for everyone, Anirudh stops her midway and tells her to give it to Aditya instead. Then, in a low voice, he says they’ve now parted ways, leaving her confused. He walks away.

The next day, Aditya warmly welcomes Jhanak, Anjana, and Bablu at a party. Jhanak tells herself she’s determined to stand on her own feet, work hard, and get justice for her father. Lalon and Appu arrive as Aditya tells them dinner is ready and hints at a surprise. Appu rushes excitedly toward Jhanak. Soon, Choton and Mrinalini arrive and greet her. Anjana asks Mrinalini when she will come home permanently. Mrinalini replies that she’ll only come if they bring her home. Anjana smiles and agrees, while Choton looks embarrassed and walks away, making Anjana tease Mrinalini. Appu joins in the chatter.
Aditya then welcomes Anirudh and his family. Anirudh, not hiding his sarcasm, says Aditya told him about the party too late, but since he’s here as a guest, he’ll enjoy. Aditya smiles and thanks him for coming, saying there’s a small ceremony as part of the celebration. Jhanak begins to worry, wondering what Aditya is planning. Dadi, cheerful and direct, tells Aditya he should now get married. Aditya smiles politely, and Dadi nudges him further, saying the bride is already present, so they should fix the wedding and all attend in Mumbai. He thanks her with a respectful smile.
Aditya then calls Jhanak and Anirudh forward. Bipasha and Arshi watch with satisfaction. Aditya takes Jhanak with him and makes a public announcement. He says he and Jhanak have planned to celebrate some wedding functions here and the rest in Mumbai. Mrinalini is stunned and asks what he’s talking about. Jhanak, equally shocked, says she doesn’t understand what’s going on. Aditya holds up a ring and says he wants to put it on Jhanak’s finger. Everyone starts clapping, but Jhanak pulls back and questions him—why is he doing this? Aditya calmly says she doesn’t need to be shy, and although he hadn’t mentioned the ring before, she had messaged him saying she wanted to settle down with him. He declares his love for her in front of everyone.
Jhanak is left speechless. She looks at Anirudh for some sign of what’s happening. She asks again what all this means. Aditya shows her a series of text messages and says, “Look for yourself.” Dadi encourages her not to feel shy. But Shubh steps in, sarcastically saying Jhanak’s true character will be exposed now. He insults her openly. Anirudh, bitterly, tells her not to act ashamed and just go ahead with what she wants—they’re all waiting for the celebration.
At this, Jhanak snaps. She says she’s not a puppet that others can control. She insists she didn’t send those messages and wants to know who’s playing such a cruel joke. Aditya, clearly hurt, asks if she’s calling him a liar. Shubh mocks her again, saying Aditya was the one trying to respect her by marrying her, but she doesn’t deserve that. Arshi jumps in, claiming this proves Jhanak isn’t the noble person she pretends to be. Bipasha calls her disgusting and says she first manipulated Anirudh, now Aditya. But Jhanak stays firm, saying she never sent those messages. Bablu steps in to support her and says she’s telling the truth.
Aditya still looks doubtful and tells her to check the messages—why would he show up just to be insulted like this? He says if she can’t be honest, he can’t build a life with her. He admits he knows she still loves Anirudh, but he accepted her proposal because he believed the messages were from her. He professes his love again and says she’s humiliating him in front of everyone. Mrinalini suggests maybe someone else sent the texts using Jhanak’s phone. Appu suddenly speaks up, accusing Bipasha of being the one behind it. She insists Jhanak wouldn’t do such a thing. Aditya asks if that’s even possible, and Bipasha quickly denies it, saying who else would have used Jhanak’s phone.
Jhanak explains her phone isn’t always with her and stresses that she would never agree to a relationship she doesn’t want. Tanuja butts in angrily, saying they’re all educated and wouldn’t snoop on someone’s phone—why would they even care about her life? She turns to Anirudh and asks him to say something. Anirudh, now acting indifferent, says everything will sort itself out once Aditya and Jhanak go to Mumbai and start living together. He suggests maybe she’s just being shy in front of others.

Anirudh coldly tells Jhanak there’s no point lying anymore. Jhanak glares at him and scolds him harshly. Hurt and frustrated, she says she’s leaving and will now find her own home.
