The episode begins with Vihaan expressing his inner conflict to Jhanak, admitting that he feels guilty about everything she’s enduring. Jhanak assures him that although Ketki may have voiced her expectations to Avni, she herself is not Avni and doesn’t expect the same. She tells him not to feel burdened or uncomfortable. Vihaan promises not to cross any lines, insisting that Avni was and will remain his last love. Jhanak firmly tells him she won’t tolerate being disrespected. To avoid any discomfort, Vihaan offers to sleep on the balcony, but Jhanak, out of concern, tells him he can stay in the room—she doesn’t want to add to his stress. Vihaan sincerely thanks her for her kindness.

Soon after, Ketki gives Jhanak the task of making ghee, explaining how important it is to their household business. She instructs Prachi and Sejal to teach her properly and tells Jhanak that she must learn to live like a village daughter-in-law. While Jhanak is deep in thought about whether Vihaan truly went to pick up Anirudh from the airport, she accidentally drops a utensil. Prachi comes to check on her, but Sejal uses the opportunity to taunt her, implying she can’t handle simple tasks. Jhanak questions Sejal’s hostility, but Prachi defends Jhanak, saying she’s still learning. Sejal harshly remarks that Ketki will never allow Vihaan or Ahaan to leave, and that Jhanak is free to leave if she can’t adjust. As the tension builds, Sejal continues mocking her. Priyanshi walks in and asks Jhanak for help with her studies. Sejal warns her not to associate with Jhanak, fearing Ketki’s wrath.
But Priyanshi brushes her off and thanks Jhanak for her help. Sejal keeps mocking, saying education is pointless if Jhanak ended up as just a housewife. Jhanak confidently replies that education and responsibility can coexist. Mehek arrives and backs Jhanak, saying that Priyanshi deserves an education too. Sejal scoffs, claiming Ketki doesn’t want Priyanshi to study, and accuses Jhanak of manipulating Vihaan. Jhanak sharply warns her not to bring her parents into the argument again.
Elsewhere, Lalon and Appu arrive unexpectedly at the Roy house, catching Shubh’s attention. Lalon boldly suggests that Shubh and Tanuja move into a flat if they want to live with dignity. He shifts the discussion to Anjana’s upcoming birthday, declaring it should be celebrated—despite the family’s old-fashioned rule of not acknowledging daughters-in-law on their birthdays. Bipasha and Laal oppose the idea, refusing to take part. But Lalon puts his foot down and insists that if Tanuja and Bipasha want to remain in the house, they must cook for the celebration. Furious, Bipasha threatens to leave with Laal and blames Shubh for the chaos.
Back in Ketki’s home, Sejal resumes her complaints until Prachi intervenes, urging everyone to try and live peacefully. Ketki enters just then, demanding tea and scolding her daughters and daughters-in-law for being careless. Without delay, Jhanak hurries to the kitchen to make it. At that moment, Vihaan arrives with Anirudh. Jhanak is visibly happy and surprised to see him. Vihaan formally introduces Jhanak as his wife, leaving Anirudh completely stunned.
