Jhanak On Starlife Thursday 26th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Shrishti and Vinayak deeply worried about Arshi. Caught up in her thoughts, Shrishti reflects on her past and wonders if what happened to Brij is now coming back to haunt her. She says she had no choice back then, that everything she did was for her daughter’s sake. Her guilt seeps through as she questions if this is her punishment. Meanwhile, Vinayak brings Arshi back and confronts her with disbelief. “How could you do this?” he asks. Arshi stands her ground and says she doesn’t want to be forced into a marriage. She explains that Anirudh doesn’t want this either—he’s in love with Jhanak. Vinayak, stunned, accuses her of trying to leave everyone behind. Shrishti is shocked by this. Arshi clarifies that she never intended to end her life, but she feels trapped. “No one’s even asking what I want,” she says, trying to make them understand.

Vinayak finally softens and tells her that if she truly doesn’t want to marry, she shouldn’t. But Shrishti insists that she must go through with the wedding—Anirudh wronged her, and this is her justice. Arshi refuses at first, but then a dark shift comes over her. “No, I will marry him,” she declares. “He deserves punishment. I’ll make him pay. He’ll see what it feels like to be hated.” Her words alarm Vinayak, who now sees her intent is not love, but revenge. At the wedding venue, Jhanak watches as Anirudh sits beside Arshi on the mandap. Aditya approaches her, but she brushes him off, saying she needs to focus on this moment. “Let this marriage happen first,” she says, keeping her emotions bottled up. The family is all smiles, seeing Arshi and Anirudh together. Tanuja remarks on Arshi’s love for Anirudh, and Vinayak, though unsure, says the day is important for the baby. The mood, however, is tense beneath the surface.
Soon, the relatives turn their attention to Jhanak, throwing taunts and comments her way. Tanuja coldly says that once the marriage is done, Jhanak should leave the house. Dadi, always supportive of Arshi, tells her never to mention leaving again. She proudly announces that Arshi is carrying Anirudh’s child and urges Dadu to say something. He dismisses her and tells everyone to just focus on the marriage.
Jhanak stares at Anirudh with mixed emotions, while Appu quietly celebrates in her own way, thinking of Jhanak. But Jhanak stops her from saying anything against Arshi, even though Appu admits she’s unhappy about this wedding. Jhanak firmly tells her to stay quiet and not repeat it. She tries to calm her down.
In a quiet corner, Bablu tells Anjana that one day, Jhanak will achieve fame and wealth. Anjana feels sorry for her. Bablu shakes his head and says he doesn’t understand how Anirudh can claim to love Jhanak and still go through this wedding with Arshi. “He’s accepted it now. He’s the father of Arshi’s child,” Bablu says. Anjana is confused—how can that be? Bablu isn’t sure either. “Something’s off here,” he mutters. “Something strange is going on, and no one will ever know the full truth.”
Despite all this, Jhanak stays composed. “I want this marriage to happen,” she says, refusing to leave with Mrinalini. “Let me witness it. I deserve this betrayal. I wanted them to be happy. Why didn’t you tell me the truth?” Mrinalini says that Choton told her Anirudh didn’t share any of this with others. Jhanak sighs, “It doesn’t matter anymore. He will tell them in his own time.”
The wedding rituals continue. Anirudh and Arshi exchange garlands, and the marriage rounds begin. Aditya can’t keep it in anymore—he leans toward Jhanak and tells her the truth. “Anirudh isn’t sick,” he says. “He was never sick. It was just a setup.” She stares at him in shock. “How do you know that?” she asks. “Because I helped him plan it,” Aditya confesses.
As the Pandit announces the completion of all the wedding rituals, Jhanak rushes to Anirudh. “You lied to me,” she says, her voice breaking. “How much more will you lie? You said you were dying. That’s why I agreed to marry you. It was all a drama, wasn’t it? I deserve to know the truth.” Her anger spills out, but the family quickly turns on her. Shubh, Lal, and Dadi berate her and demand she leave immediately. But Jhanak refuses. “I’m talking to Anirudh,” she says.
Arshi steps in, her tone sharp and full of authority. “He’s my husband now,” she says. “You have no place between us.” Vinayak tells everyone to calm down, but Jhanak is insistent. “Anirudh has to answer me,” she says. Aditya steps in to defend the situation, but Anirudh finally speaks. “I lied,” he says plainly, “because I wanted to marry her.” Arshi is furious. Bipasha urges him to stay silent, not to answer Jhanak’s questions.
Jhanak stares at him with burning eyes. “I hate you,” she says. Anirudh quietly responds, “I know. And I’ll give you more reasons to hate me.” He turns to Aditya and pleads, “Please keep your promise. Don’t tell anyone more.”
