The episode begins with Anirudh and Jhanak rushing Brij to the hospital. Jhanak clutches her father’s hand, pleading with him to wake up. The doctor examines Brij while Anirudh keeps a close eye on the monitors, exchanging worried glances with Choton. Anirudh gently tries to get Jhanak’s attention, his anxiety growing by the second. Jhanak breaks down, sobbing that she can’t live without her father. Choton tries to console her, assuring her that they’re all with her. Desperate and full of hope, she keeps calling out to Brij, begging him to respond. The doctor, however, gives them the heartbreaking news—they’ve lost him. Jhanak is shattered. She refuses to accept it, clinging to her father’s body, begging the doctor to try again. But it’s over. Her world falls apart.
Choton tells Bablu that Jhanak will stay with them now, but Bablu hesitates, concerned about the complications that might arise. Choton insists they can’t let her be alone at a time like this. Inconsolable, Jhanak screams that someone has killed her father. Anirudh, deeply moved, vows to her that he’ll get justice, promising that whoever is behind this will pay. But Jhanak, broken and angry, cries that justice won’t bring her father back.
Meanwhile, Vinayak confronts Shrishti, accusing her of repeatedly trying to harm Jhanak. Shrishti dismisses the allegations, saying nothing has been proven. But Vinayak says it has been—one of the production boys has confessed everything. He warns her that punishment is on the way. He scolds her for having no remorse, especially after Brij’s death. She defiantly responds that Brij tried to ruin her life, and his death is no loss to her. With cold satisfaction, she declares that only one more obstacle remains in her path.
Elsewhere, at a public event, Lalon and Appu attend as the host calls Kajal to the stage. Kajal introduces them, giving a heartfelt speech about their lives and bond. Appu beams as Kajal praises Lalon and his integrity, telling the audience how he didn’t want to perform but agreed only to earn some money after suffering business losses. Kajal says Appu is the embodiment of love, and her purity brought Lalon here today. The crowd claps warmly. Appu notices Lalon getting emotional and asks why he’s crying. He brushes it off, saying something got in his eyes. She promises to wipe away all his pain and holds his hand. He smiles gratefully.
Back at the hospital, Choton and Bablu try to comfort Jhanak. She mourns the death of their shared dream and feels completely lost. Bablu urges her to come with them, but she refuses. Anirudh steps in, reminding her that Brij entrusted her to him—so from now on, whatever he says goes. Meanwhile, Kajal continues speaking about Lalon and Appu, defending Lalon’s actions and highlighting Appu’s innocence and love.
Choton tells Jhanak they need to get a post-mortem done because her father’s death wasn’t natural. She resists the idea, saying her father always endured pain silently. But Anirudh explains that if they want justice, this step is necessary. Choton adds that if they don’t proceed, the culprits will walk free. Bablu agrees, reinforcing how important this is.
Anirudh gently asks Jhanak to leave the hospital for now, since the post-mortem will take two days and the last rites can only happen after that. She clings to her father, refusing to move. Choton tries to give her strength. She finally asks Anirudh to take her home, but not to his house. Bablu argues, saying she can’t be left alone, especially when someone from Arshi’s family might be involved in Brij’s death. Jhanak pleads with them not to drag her into more storms. Anirudh says he’ll come to her home then, to protect her.
Arshi calls Anirudh and questions him about when he’s coming back. He tells her off, saying he’s not out having fun and hangs up. Kajal tells the audience that Appu, though simple, has the biggest heart. Appu denies being part of the Bose family, but Kajal insists that she belongs with them. She says Lalon only agreed to come because of Appu.
Jhanak worries aloud that everyone she loves is being taken from her—first her mother, now her father. Choton promises they won’t let anything happen to her. She still refuses to leave her home and her memories. Anirudh understands and tells her he’ll stay with her—she has no other choice. She turns on him, asking who he is to decide her future. Bablu and Choton try to reason with her, and Anirudh, gently but firmly, promises he’s not going anywhere. He will stay by her side. Bablu and Choton walk away sadly, leaving Anirudh to take Jhanak’s hand and guide her out. He tells her, “I will never leave your hand.”
UPCOMING
Arshi fumes and says Anirudh will always be hers. Anirudh brings Jhanak home and tells Arshi, “I’m sorry, but I’m marrying Jhanak.” Arshi is left stunned.
