Jhanak On Starlife Tuesday 17th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Anirudh expressing his love for Jhanak. He tells her that he has already asked Arshi to end their relationship. But Jhanak reminds him that doing so will hurt Arshi deeply. Anirudh asks if he should keep suffering just to avoid hurting others and insists that he doesn’t want to hurt Jhanak either. Jhanak calmly replies that she’s fine and that her life doesn’t revolve around him—her dreams matter more to her right now. When he asks if there’s any space for him in her life, she’s taken aback, questioning how he could even ask something like that. He says her one decision could change both their lives, but Jhanak refuses, unwilling to shake the fragile balance of everything around them.

Anirudh then says she’ll only truly understand him when she hears about his death. But Jhanak warns that if they reunite, it will cause chaos in everyone’s life. He tries to convince her to run away with him, mentioning a job offer abroad where they could start fresh. But Jhanak says she wants to focus on her goals and isn’t ready to leave everything behind. He then suggests they stay in Mumbai instead, but she questions his responsibilities, especially to Arshi. He insists that Arshi is no longer his responsibility and says with finality that he will either live with Jhanak or not live at all.
Jhanak tells him to move on and forget everything, but he refuses. He says he will never go back to Arshi, even if Jhanak turns him down. Desperately, he pleads with her to save him because he feels like he’s suffocating. Eventually, Jhanak agrees to come with him to his house but makes it clear she won’t stay forever. Encouraged by her decision, he proposes marriage on the spot, but she refuses again, saying she won’t be the one to destroy his bond with Arshi. He insists that there’s no bond left, and he is willing to give up everything just to be with her. He tells her to follow her dreams but not to call him again if she won’t be a part of his life. As he turns to walk away, she stops him. He asks her to promise she’ll never leave him, but she says she can’t make that promise. He tells her to let him go, but she emotionally says he can’t leave without her. Hearing this, Anirudh is overjoyed, and the two leave together in his car.
At his house, Jhanak once again makes it clear that she won’t be responsible for breaking his marriage with Arshi. Just then, Anirudh receives a call from Aditya. He tells Jhanak to wait inside, but she says she’ll go to Appu’s house instead. Anirudh agrees. On the call, Aditya tells him that he must make Jhanak believe that things with Arshi are truly over. He also warns him about Kul Bhushan, who is planning to harm Jhanak before the court verdict. Anirudh is stunned and thanks Aditya. He says he wants to protect Jhanak and give her happiness by marrying her. Aditya tells him Jhanak is lucky to have someone like him and urges him not to let her leave Kolkata.
Later, Anirudh decides that Jhanak must stay with him for her safety. When one of his employees asks for leave due to his father’s cancer, Anirudh visits the man’s house. He takes a photo of the medical report and asks someone to edit it, saying it’s for Jhanak’s well-being. After giving financial help to the employee, he leaves.
Meanwhile, Jhanak visits Appu and tells her that Lalon will soon get a job. Appu asks her if she’s planning to leave her, sensing that Jhanak’s thoughts are consumed by Anirudh. Jhanak admits she can’t live with him. But Appu says bluntly that Anirudh should’ve married Jhanak instead of Arshi. Just then, Anirudh calls Jhanak, saying something big has happened and that he’s waiting for her outside. He ends the call abruptly.

Anirudh and Jhanak smile as they pose together in a pre-wedding photoshoot. Just then, Arshi shows up unexpectedly and drops a shocking bombshell—she’s pregnant. Both Anirudh and Jhanak are left stunned.
