But she also reminds herself that she has to keep moving forward. With a look test scheduled, she chooses to head home for now and return later. She smiles faintly, choosing hope over sorrow. Meanwhile, at the lawyer’s office, Prasad confronts Shubh and firmly tells him to return the money that rightfully belongs to Lalon. He explains that Shubh has already used up the capital and interest and that the house Shubh claims isn’t his to keep. Even if they forget the interest, Prasad insists Shubh must vacate the house. Sameer supports this, backing Prasad’s demand. Shubh, growing desperate, asks what he should do with his family. Prasad coldly tells him to experience the struggles of the very people he wronged, suggesting he visit Lalon’s locality. When Shubh pleads further, Prasad bluntly tells him to leave, offering no sympathy. Shubh and his family—Tanuja, Lal, and Bipasha—head to the colony.

As they enter Lalon’s neighborhood, Lal and Bipasha start mocking the place. Shubh tries to appear sincere, calling out for Lalon. Appu, feisty as ever, mocks Shubh’s dramatic voice and questions his intentions. Soon, Lalon and his family come out. When Shubh says he wants to talk, Kajal tries to shut him down. Tanuja and Bipasha quickly scold her, but the locals unite, raising their voices in support of Lalon.
Shubh tries to paint himself as generous, saying he respects Lalon’s pride and wants to help. Lalon scoffs at his words. The crowd grows louder, demanding that Shubh return the money. Appu reminds everyone how he hurt Lalon’s father, and Anuradha expresses fear that he’ll do more harm. Kajal and Jhimli speak up too, refusing to accept his so-called help. Shubh asks to speak privately with Lalon, but the community stands united in protest. At that moment, Jhanak arrives at Brij’s house but finds it locked. She assumes the lawyer has gone out for tea and decides to wait. Meanwhile, Choton and Mrinalini reach Lalon’s house, watching the confrontation unfold.
Tanuja, frustrated, asks why Shubh is tolerating the accusations. The crowd becomes more aggressive in response to her words. Shubh asks them to calm down. Choton advises Shubh to speak with kindness; otherwise, no one will hear him. Lal questions Choton’s loyalty, which prompts an angry reaction from the locals. Bipasha urges Lal to stay silent so Shubh can speak. Kajal fiercely tells Shubh they see through his lies. Jhimli adds that Lalon might be quiet, but she won’t let this injustice slide.
Shubh offers Lalon financial help again. Lalon is disgusted and tells him to stop pretending. Appu scolds Shubh, saying he stole their money and now wants to act noble. The shouting intensifies until Mrinalini cuts in, saying Shubh isn’t helping—he’s trying to repent. This sparks another heated exchange between her and Tanuja. Shubh, defensive, argues that the house is his ancestral home and wasn’t built with Lalon’s father’s money.
Just then, Anirudh arrives. Appu immediately softens, telling everyone how much she loves him and how good he is. Anirudh stands tall and says he’s here to undo his father’s mistakes. Shubh, in one final move, offers 20 lakhs to Lalon to solve the issue. Lalon insists he make that offer publicly. Shubh agrees, and Lalon prepares to tell everyone.
Meanwhile, Jhanak, still waiting, drifts off to sleep inside the locked house. The lawyer, elsewhere, gives instructions to the local men. He tells them Jhanak will be staying in the house for a few days and warns them not to be fooled by her cleverness. He makes it clear that their job is to keep an eye on her—Kul has asked him to handle this, and he doesn’t care that she’s Kul’s niece. He sinisterly hints that once Jhanak starts to feel happy, it’ll be too late—she’ll realize she’s trapped. The men are told to make no mistakes, and the lawyer walks off, leaving behind a sense of dread.
