Anirudh walks out in frustration, leaving Arshi standing there in panic. She feels helpless, unsure of how to manage the situation. In her mind, she imagines Shrishti warning her to take control—telling her to handle Anirudh and put Jhanak in her place, or else be prepared for humiliation. That thought fires up Arshi’s determination. She decides to take charge. Meanwhile, Kajal quietly leaves, and Appu questions why she was made to go. Lalon tries to calm her down but admits he’s worried. He receives a call from the commissioner and explains everything.

The commissioner tells him to file a complaint, promising his support. Appu takes the phone and confidently says she knows Nutan is actually Jhanak in disguise. She insists on going to Shrishti’s party to catch her. The commissioner assures her he will help. Appu gets excited and runs off to prepare. Lalon apologizes for Appu’s bluntness, but the commissioner surprises him by saying he believes Appu—he also feels Jhanak and Nutan are the same person. He says the real challenge is Tejas, and they need to trap him carefully. Lalon agrees and hopes things fall into place.
As Vinayak and Shrishti walk down the stairs at their anniversary party, Arshi greets them with a warm smile and kind wishes. Soon, Anirudh and his family arrive. They offer their wishes too. Vinayak asks Anirudh to sing something. Anirudh declines, but Arshi sweetly pleads, hoping he will do it for her. Just then, Appu and Lalon arrive. Appu hugs Anirudh, excitedly sharing how Kajal helped her get dressed. Lalon admits she forced him to bring her along.
Appu walks up to Shrishti and wishes her, but Shrishti coldly tells her to behave properly. Lalon, feeling out of place, says he doesn’t know high-society manners. Shrishti taunts him and tells him to learn. Lalon keeps his cool and wishes her politely. Arshi says Anirudh won’t sing, so Appu quickly offers to sing instead. Shrishti dismisses her, saying Bengali songs aren’t suitable. Appu says she knows Hindi songs too. Arshi allows her to sing, but Shrishti jokes again. Appu cleverly taunts her back.
Choton and Mrinalini walk in next. Shrishti points out how they always arrive together. Choton proudly introduces Mrinalini as his future wife, silencing her. Mrinalini hands over a gift and wishes them politely. Appu then asks about Nutan. Arshi explains their father invited her and she should be coming. Anirudh silently reflects on how much Nutan reminds him of Jhanak. The mood lifts as everyone gets curious about the surprise Vinayak has planned. He says there’s a big surprise coming but keeps the details a secret. Then the atmosphere changes. Jhanak arrives, dressed as Nutan, and all eyes turn to her. Her calm yet powerful presence stuns the room. Anirudh walks straight up to her. Arshi and Shrishti get visibly uneasy. Brij enters beside Jhanak. Vinayak greets them with a smile and compliments Jhanak, calling her beautiful. Shrishti pulls him aside and questions why he invited them. Arshi defends their father, saying he gets emotional. But Shrishti warns her—Anirudh has already gone to Nutan.
Lalon and Appu sing a touching song—“Tere Mere Milan Ki Yeh Raina.” Everyone claps for them. Appu notices Jhanak and goes to her, but Jhanak maintains her act as Nutan. Anjana quickly takes Appu away. Choton and Mrinalini see what’s happening and feel sad for Anirudh, understanding the truth. Vinayak tells Anirudh to look after the guests, especially Brij and Nutan. Anirudh nods. Lal announces that Anirudh should sing now. Anirudh hesitates, but Jhanak softly encourages him. She says everyone would love to hear him sing. Bipasha joins in and says he should sing for Arshi too. Arshi reminds him she has been requesting him for a long time. Anirudh finally agrees. He sings “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas,” but his eyes remain fixed on Jhanak. The love in his voice is clear. Arshi watches, disturbed, and her mind fills with fear. She wishes she could get pregnant, thinking that would keep Anirudh tied to her.
As the song ends, Vinayak announces the cake-cutting. Shrishti reminds him again about the surprise. He smiles and takes the mic. Instead of giving the gift immediately, he says he wants to tell everyone a story. Shrishti stands proudly, unaware of the storm coming her way. Vinayak talks about a poor boy who worked hard, fell in love with a girl, and eventually married her. They had a daughter. The man supported his wife and let her go for a year of training. But when she returned, she was no longer the same. She had gone back to the man she had loved before. The party grows silent as Vinayak speaks. Everyone listens closely. Shrishti stands frozen. She begins to realize what is happening—and her smile slowly fades.
