Jhanak On Starlife Tuesday 24th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Jhanak confiding in Mrinalini that Aniruddh is suffering from a life-threatening illness. Shocked, Mrinalini asks why his family doesn’t know about it. Jhanak explains that Aniruddh chose not to share the news with anyone; he wants to spend the rest of his life with her, and that’s why she agreed to be with him. Mrinalini gently presses for more details, and Jhanak reveals that Aniruddh has cancer. Through tears, she says she’s simply fulfilling his last wish. She feels cursed, as everyone she loves eventually leaves her. Mrinalini is left speechless, only able to express sorrow for Aniruddh’s situation. Jhanak then reveals that Arshi has no idea about the illness and insists she wants to save Aniruddh no matter what.

Meanwhile, Bablu voices his concerns to Aniruddh, saying everything is happening too fast. Aniruddh calmly replies that he doesn’t have much time left. Choton questions Bablu about his sudden dislike for Jhanak, reminding him that Arshi has already left and Aniruddh has every right to pursue happiness. Bablu blames Jhanak for Arshi’s departure. But Aniruddh stands firm—he loves Jhanak. Lalon sides with Aniruddh, urging Bablu to consider Jhanak’s loneliness. She has no one in this world, and they must support her.
Jhanak, meanwhile, tells Mrinalini that she will fight to save Aniruddh. This marriage, to her, is more than a ritual—it’s a battle. She’s willing to bear humiliation and opposition, because nothing matters to her more than Aniruddh’s life. Mrinalini assures her that she’s doing the right thing and believes Jhanak will win this fight. She admires Jhanak’s strength and tells her that making Aniruddh happy is all that should matter now.
Back at home, Lalon tells Bablu that he doesn’t believe Aniruddh is doing anything wrong by choosing Jhanak. He points out that Arshi has a whole support system, but Jhanak is all alone. Apu shows up, curious why Aniruddh sent Jhanak to Mrinalini’s house. Aniruddh tells her that Jhanak will return before the sangeet. Apu laughs, saying she’s excited to finally eat something good after a long time. She jokes that they’ve become poor, and now Lalon doesn’t even have a job.
Aniruddh is surprised and asks Lalon why he never told him. Lalon assures him that Apu is his responsibility, and he’ll take care of her no matter what. Bablu chimes in, saying that singing at events won’t sustain them and Lalon needs proper work. Apu then blurts out that their family was once wealthy, but Shubhankar ruined them. Aniruddh, confused, asks what she means. Apu reveals she overheard Anuradha and Kajol discussing it. Aniruddh turns to Lalon for an explanation, but Lalon brushes it off, saying this isn’t the right time for such discussions. It’s time for celebration. Apu suggests singing together, but Lalon refuses, warning her that if she disobeys him, he might leave her. Apu bursts into tears. Bablu gently reassures her, saying Lalon won’t leave her—he loves her deeply. Apu smiles and says just like Aniruddh loves Jhanak.
Elsewhere, Mrinalini encourages Jhanak to smile for Aniruddh’s sake. She says God is testing her and she must stay strong. Jhanak asks how many more tests she has to go through. She says once Aniruddh recovers, she will quietly leave. But Mrinalini tells her not to say such things. She believes Jhanak and Aniruddh are meant to live a long and happy life together.
At the same time, Tanuja informs Shubhankar that Bablu is now siding with Aniruddh. Shubhankar fumes, calling Aniruddh shameless. Bipasha insists that Jhanak can never be happy. Tanuja wonders if they can throw Jhanak out of the house, but Bipasha says it’s no longer possible. Shubhankar begins to worry that something ominous may be on the horizon.
Meanwhile, Vinayak tells Arshi that Aniruddh must be told about the pregnancy. Srishti agrees, adding that even Jhanak deserves to know. She fears that Aniruddh might deny responsibility for the child in the future.
As the sangeet preparations begin, Jhanak and Aniruddh dress up for the event. Apu compliments Jhanak and cheerfully says she’s brought everyone to join the celebration. She questions why nobody is smiling, then urges Anjana to welcome Jhanak properly, since she’s about to become their daughter-in-law. Just then, Aditya arrives, and Jhanak is surprised to see him. He says there’s no way he would miss her big day. Jhanak warmly calls him her special friend, someone who has always supported her. Aditya kicks off the festivities, asking them to start the sangeet. Apu insists that Aniruddh and Jhanak dance together. They oblige, sharing a beautiful moment on the dance floor. Aniruddh goes down on one knee and offers Jhanak a rose.
But just then, Arshi walks in with her parents. She congratulates Aniruddh with a smile, then coldly asks him in front of everyone whether he will accept his child. The room falls silent in shock.
