The episode begins with Brij asking Anirudh to take care of Jhanak. Anirudh gives his word, and Brij blesses him. Meanwhile, Arshi watches quietly, thinking to herself that once this court case is over, Anirudh will finally see her true side. In court, Anurag confesses that Tejas bribed him. He admits to his wrongdoing and says he’s ready to face the consequences because he wants to make amends. He also claims that Shrishti was involved with Tejas. Shrishti immediately denies it, calling him a liar. Shubh objects to the testimony, and the judge reprimands him, reminding him to keep his client under control.
Anurag continues and says he accepted Tejas’ offer. He confesses that he lied to Jhanak about Anirudh’s accident to get her in the car. She panicked when she saw Tejas, so he used a spray to knock her unconscious. They then pushed the car into the river. Following Tejas’ instructions, he fled to Srinagar. Wracked with guilt, he stayed hidden until he saw the news and decided to return to tell the truth. Shubh dismisses it all as fiction, but the judge asks if Anurag has any proof. Debashish steps in, submitting documents to support Anurag’s statement. The judge examines them while Shubh continues to argue.
Debashish turns to Jhanak and asks what she remembers. Jhanak recalls waking up in an ashram with a Sadhu baba, who introduced her to Brijbhushan. At the time, she didn’t know Brij and Kul were twin brothers. Over time, she learned that Brij and Shrishti were her real parents. Shrishti instantly rejects this, claiming Jhanak is not her daughter. Arshi comforts her, saying she believes her. Shubh announces that he has a witness, but the judge reminds him that no such name is on the list. The court is then adjourned for the day.
Outside court, Arshi approaches Jhanak and pleads with her. Lal demands that Jhanak leave Anirudh alone. Jhanak firmly says she never tried to steal him. Arshi accuses her of confusing Anirudh and claims she too has suffered. Brij defends Jhanak, asking Lal not to insult her. Tanuja says they’ll accept whatever the court decides, but still tells Jhanak to leave Anirudh’s life. Brij argues that Anirudh isn’t a child—he keeps returning to Jhanak by choice. He says there’s nothing wrong with Anirudh wanting to stand by her. Arshi continues arguing. Jhanak says Arshi can’t control her partner. She reminds them that when she left Kolkata, Arshi was traveling too. Anirudh fell ill, and instead of caring, Arshi accused him of faking it and went to Dubai. It was pure chance that Jhanak was in the city. Arshi insists Jhanak would’ve done the same in her place. Jhanak denies it, saying she isn’t ungrateful. She says that if Anirudh is with Arshi, it’s only because she never fought for him. The family mistreated and used her, and now she and her father are leaving the city.
Lal tells her to go and never come back. Brij challenges him, asking if he owns the city. Lal sarcastically tells her to shift to Mumbai, where she’ll find plenty of work. Brij tells Jhanak it’s time to go. Jhanak says Arshi never cared about her or her mother, and now that it’s confirmed they share the same mother, things have changed. She says she doesn’t need Shrishti’s name or status, but no one can treat her the way they did before. Arshi fires back, asking if Jhanak plans to get Anirudh back. Jhanak calmly replies that Arshi’s question shows she knows she’s already lost him. Arshi insists Anirudh is hers. Jhanak retorts, asking why she’s so afraid then. Tanuja snaps that they don’t care if she’s Shrishti’s daughter. Jhanak says no one can stop them if they want to be together. Lal asks what she means.
Jhanak says she always wished happiness for the family. She never tried to reach out to Anirudh, even though she knew he cared. She confesses that she loves Anirudh deeply and sees nothing wrong in it. Crying, she says he doesn’t love Arshi—he loves her. Brij supports her. Just then, Anirudh shows up, telling her he’s booked a cab for her. Lal and Tanuja mock the situation. Arshi offers Jhanak money to leave Anirudh. Anirudh tells her to stop humiliating Jhanak. Brij urges him to go back with his family. Jhanak, frustrated, says she’s had enough of being insulted. She reminds Anirudh that she’s told him time and again—they can’t have a relationship. But he declares that their lives are connected, and he’s ready to fight the world for her.
Choton arrives and meets Jhanak. She asks him to give her regards to the family. He shares that Lalon has suffered a major business loss, but he’s standing by him. Jhanak says she wishes she could help, but they’re leaving now. Anirudh tries to stop her. Arshi tells him to go with Jhanak if he wants. He asks if she really means that. Lal scolds him, saying he’s embarrassing the family. Jhanak scolds Arshi and then leaves with Brij.
Anirudh is left heartbroken. On the way, Jhanak tells Brij that she’s already booked their tickets. She says she doesn’t need anything else as long as he’s with her. She’s ready for a fresh start in Mumbai. Anirudh says he’s waiting for the court’s final decision. Jhanak shares that she had started working in Mumbai before, but had to return. Aditya, a good friend, helped her a lot. She says they have to bring the truth to light and that she owes her life to Anirudh. They reach home, and Jhanak tries to pay the driver. He tells her the payment is already made. Brij says he’s not surprised—it must be Anirudh.
Suddenly, a group of goons shows up. One of them pulls out a gun and shoots Brij. Jhanak is left horrified, staring in disbelief.

Arshi declares that Anirudh will always be hers. But Anirudh brings Jhanak home and stuns everyone by saying, “I’m sorry, Arshi. I’m marrying Jhanak.” Arshi is left speechless.
