The episode begins with Vihaan reassuring Jhanak that she will have a place to stay and promising to arrange someone to help care for his baby. He offers her financial help and directly asks how much money she would like for the responsibility. Jhanak firmly declines, saying she doesn’t want any payment. She reminds him that he’s already offering her shelter and food, which is more than enough. Vihaan asks her again to care for his child. Akshat supports the idea, commenting that Jhanak is lucky to have found a place in Vihaan’s life. He urges her to say yes. Jhanak reflects on the situation—whether it’s right to step into Vihaan’s house pretending to be his wife. But given her circumstances, she feels cornered. With no other option, she agrees. Meanwhile, at Vihaan’s family home, Sejal comments that Vihaan’s wife must be arrogant. Another lady says it’s too soon to judge. Sejal coldly declares that whoever Vihaan has married will have to handle all the household chores. Ketki joins the conversation and immediately guesses they’re talking about Vihaan’s wife. She confirms their assumptions and declares the girl will indeed have to take full responsibility. But her tone grows bitter as she expresses resentment, believing this girl has tricked her innocent son. Ketki is determined not to let anyone disrespect the family.

Vihaan’s father, trying to be reasonable, suggests they at least give the girl a chance before judging her. But Ketki is stubborn—she refuses to listen, claiming the girl has separated Vihaan from the family. He gently reminds her that she never accepted Vihaan’s previous choices either, especially his marriage. The conversation shifts briefly to Priyanshi’s future. Ketki states that Priyanshi doesn’t need college, but he urges her to at least let the girl finish school. Elsewhere, Akshat’s wife speaks kindly to Jhanak, encouraging her to accept Vihaan’s offer. She assures Jhanak that one day she’ll be grateful for it. Akshat echoes her words and tells Jhanak she’ll thank him too when she realizes it’s all for the best. Back at the Bose house, Shubh and Tanuja return home with Lalon and Appu. Lalon immediately takes charge. He tells Bablu and Anjana not to do any housework—after all, it’s his house now. He declares that Anjana is not to be treated like a servant anymore, and if anyone has a problem with this new rule, they’re free to leave. He starts assigning duties: Tanuja will be in charge of the kitchen, and Anjana will not assist her. Tanuja protests, saying she doesn’t know how to cook, but Lalon insists. Shubh tries to offer a solution—hiring a cook—but Lalon shuts the suggestion down.
Meanwhile, Jhanak gently tends to the baby. The baby smiles up at her, and in that moment, Jhanak feels a connection. She thinks the baby has chosen her and decides to accept Vihaan’s offer. She tells him she agrees to live in his house and follow the rules. Vihaan thanks her warmly and assures her that she doesn’t have to be afraid—he will be there to support her. Jhanak silently reflects on the choice she’s made and the new path ahead of her.
