Jhanak On Starlife Wednesday 18th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Anirudh calling Jhanak to say he’s waiting outside. Jhanak tells Appu she’s stepping out for something important. Appu cheekily assumes she’s meeting Anirudh and giggles, thinking they’re going on a date. Jhanak meets Anirudh and asks what’s going on. He looks serious and asks her directly if she loves him. Jhanak reminds him they’ve already discussed this. But Anirudh takes it further—he tells her he wants her in his life forever and proposes marriage. Jhanak replies emotionally, saying that while she has deep feelings for him, her principles won’t allow her to marry him. She says she’s content loving him from afar.

Suddenly, Anirudh hands her a fake medical report claiming he has cancer and doesn’t have long to live. Shocked and in tears, Jhanak asks why she’s destined to lose everyone she loves. Anirudh pleads with her to stay by his side, saying her presence will give him the strength to survive. He urges her to forget society and Arshi. Moved by his plea, Jhanak agrees to stay and eventually says yes to marrying him. They hug tightly—Anirudh relieved he has convinced her, while Jhanak feels like she can’t live without him.
As they enter the house, Arshi is waiting and claps mockingly. Anjana smiles seeing Jhanak, but Shubh criticizes her for walking out. Dadi lashes out, calling Jhanak shameless, but Anirudh immediately defends her and warns that he’ll leave the house if anyone insults her again. Arshi, furious, declares she can’t live even a second with Anirudh now. He calmly tells her to free him from their relationship, as neither of them is happy. Arshi accuses him of planning to marry Jhanak. Tanuja then questions if Anirudh wants to live with Jhanak in their house. Anirudh says he’ll leave if it comes to that—he only wants to be with the woman he loves.
Jhanak, tired of the insults, finally speaks up. She tells everyone to stop crossing the line and that it’s her turn to reveal the truth. She explains that every time she tried to leave, something terrible happened to her—because of their actions. She asks how they can blame her if they failed to stop Anirudh themselves. She throws it back at Arshi, saying if she couldn’t hold onto him, it’s not Jhanak’s fault. Anjana asks why Jhanak is saying all this. Anirudh answers—Jhanak won’t be going to Mumbai. Jhanak confirms that Anirudh is her priority now.
Shubh demands to know who Jhanak even is to Anirudh. Tanuja insists Anirudh is their family’s responsibility. Just then, Choton arrives and hears Anjana saying Jhanak is once again being wrongfully accused. Anirudh tells Arshi that their marriage was never completed, it holds no legal ground. He even offers her financial compensation if needed. Dadi scolds him, but he calmly says he refuses to stay in a relationship where he can’t give happiness. He makes it clear—his personal life is no longer up for debate.
Arshi argues that everything would be fine if Jhanak just left. Jhanak replies that she already did—but nothing improved. Anirudh confirms he won’t be with Arshi any longer and reminds her of her promise: she had vowed to walk away if he brought Jhanak back. He says he’s made his final decision. He then reveals that it was Jhanak who stayed with him when Arshi abandoned him. Jhanak tells Arshi that if she asks her to go, she will—but she will always return if Anirudh is ever in danger. Arshi, in a fit of rage, pushes Jhanak. Anirudh immediately protects her. Arshi demands Jhanak stay away, but Jhanak warns she won’t tolerate insults anymore. Anirudh turns to Arshi and asks her to make her choice. Heartbroken, Arshi says Anirudh doesn’t care for her and walks away.
UPCOMING
Anirudh and Jhanak are seen having a joyful pre-wedding photoshoot, smiling and posing together. Suddenly, Arshi appears—visibly upset—and drops a bombshell: she’s pregnant. Both Anirudh and Jhanak are left stunned.
