The episode begins with Vinayak sharing a shocking story. He says there was a girl who came back to her husband’s house and continued life as if nothing happened. Her husband knew she didn’t truly love him—she only cared about his wealth and reputation. Still, he chose not to break the marriage. During that year apart, she stayed with her first husband—the man she actually loved.
Shrishti is confused and asks what he means by this story. Vinayak says he isn’t done yet. That woman never told her second husband about her past marriage or her child. She feared that her first husband would show up at her new home and expose the truth. So, she pretended to love him, carried his child, and later went away again to “disappear” him. His twin brother helped in the plan—he took over the man’s identity, money, and fame. The original man vanished. The woman returned to her second husband’s life, feeling safe. But she left her child behind. Her younger sister raised that baby. This sister was also a talented dancer who had feelings for the same man, but she never wanted to break her sister’s family.
Vinayak continues, saying that the child eventually grows up and finds her family. Then he reveals that this story is not fiction—it’s about Arshi, Jhanak, and Anirudh. He says everyone tried to destroy Jhanak, but failed. Mrinalini realizes what he’s saying. Choton asks who the woman in the story is. Mrinalini replies—it’s Shrishti. Choton is stunned. “She has two children?” he asks. Arshi is shocked. Shrishti insists that Vinayak has lost his mind.
But Anirudh finally begins to understand the entire truth. Vinayak reveals how Jhanak survived an attempt on her life. Some sadhus saved her and took her to an ashram, where she met her father. That father’s friend, a doctor, saved her life and gave her a new name—Nutan. Everyone stands frozen in disbelief. Anirudh looks at Jhanak with emotion in his eyes.
Shrishti yells for Vinayak to stop, but he tells her to be quiet. He says he has given her the biggest truth of her life. Tanuja is confused. Vinayak drops the bomb—Arshi is his and Shrishti’s daughter. But Shrishti has one more daughter—Jhanak. Yes, he says, Jhanak is Nutan. Everyone is shocked. Appu laughs and says she knew it all along. Anjana tries to calm her down.
Anirudh rushes to Jhanak and hugs her tightly. Bipasha and Shubh are stunned. Tanuja asks if Jhanak and Arshi are really sisters. Jhanak confirms it. She says, yes, Shrishti gave her birth, but she never accepted her as a mother. She says she was raised by Urvashi. She never knew her father and used to hate him. But later, when she met Pandit BrijBhushan, she understood what a father truly is.
Shrishti starts to feel dizzy. Brij steps in and says everything Vinayak said is true. He reveals that he is Shrishti’s husband. Arshi is shocked and doesn’t know what to believe. Shrishti faints. Shubh asks someone to bring water. Vinayak tells Arshi to accept the truth now. Tanuja and Bipasha take care of Shrishti. Then Vinayak says something that changes everything—he declares he will divorce Shrishti. “A woman cannot live with two husbands,” he says firmly.
Arshi begs him not to do this. But Vinayak tells her to face the reality. “Jhanak is your sister. Shrishti is your mother,” he says. He confesses he once loved Shrishti deeply, but now, he only sees her lies. He says Shrishti wanted to kill Jhanak because she feared her talent. She knew Jhanak had the real spark and ability.
Anirudh holds back tears. He says he always believed Jhanak was alive. Arshi says Jhanak’s return won’t change anything—she won’t allow her to come between her and Anirudh. She says Jhanak found her father, so now she doesn’t need anything from them. “You’ll never be anything to me,” Arshi declares. She asks Anirudh to come with her. He refuses. “Go if you want. I’m not leaving,” he says.
Brij thanks Vinayak for revealing the truth with courage. He tells Jhanak to come with him. Anirudh stops her and holds her hand. Arshi reminds him that Jhanak now has her father and doesn’t need them. Jhanak says that Anirudh will belong to Arshi only because she is allowing it. She says Arshi will always owe her this sacrifice. Crying, she leaves.
Back at home, Jhanak speaks to Brij. She says accepting the truth is painful. She doesn’t want to be called Shrishti’s daughter. Brij comforts her. He says Shrishti will never be accepted again—not by Vinayak, not by Arshi. Jhanak agrees. She says Arshi can never think of her as a sister.
Vinayak, Shrishti, and Arshi return home. Vinayak quietly goes to his room and locks the door. Shrishti knocks and begs him to open it. Arshi breaks down. “Do I really have to live with this truth that Jhanak is my sister?” she asks. Shrishti insists it’s a lie. She says Vinayak should have discussed it with her first. Vinayak comes out and says if she wants to fight, she can go to court—he will prove the truth.
Shrishti says she never left him. Vinayak says she only stayed for his money. She tries to deny it. He reminds her that she doesn’t earn much, spends a lot, and always comes to him for support. “Tell me one thing you did for Arshi,” he challenges. He says he managed Arshi’s entire upbringing and education alone. Shrishti asks why he’s bringing this up now. Vinayak says not everyone abandons their child like she did.
Arshi cries and says she remembers how Shrishti never had time for her because she was always busy being a dancer. She turns to Vinayak and asks, “Is all of this really true?” He says yes. She’s heartbroken and says she cannot accept it.
Meanwhile, Brij says the real fight begins now—with a court case. He vows not to let Shrishti go free. “She married twice. She wanted Arshi to replace you, but you are her real daughter,” he tells Jhanak. Shrishti accuses him and Jhanak of plotting to ruin her and Arshi’s life. She even blames Anirudh. Arshi tells her to bring proof if she’s innocent. She says she will investigate everything herself.
Vinayak says they all have to bear the shame now. Shrishti fooled him all these years. He says a woman who is already married cannot marry again. Shrishti begs him to trust her, but he refuses. “How can a mother try to destroy her own daughter?” he asks. He accuses her of trying to kill Jhanak to protect her secret. She denies everything, but he stands firm. “No one can fool me anymore,” he says. He tells Arshi to go to Anirudh.
Arshi cries and says, “What respect will I have in that house? Anirudh will now stand with Jhanak, I know it.”
At Brij’s home, Jhanak breaks down. “I can’t take all this,” she says. Brij comforts her. Anirudh knocks at the door, calling out to Jhanak. Brij smiles and says he knew Anirudh would come. Jhanak doesn’t want to see him. She says she doesn’t want to destroy someone’s family. Brij reminds her that her life is already broken, and she can’t break something already shattered. He says Anirudh always stood by her, and he won’t leave now. Brij opens the door.
Anirudh enters and looks at Jhanak with pain in his eyes. “I’m so happy you’re back. Why did you leave me?” he asks. She steps away and tells him not to come close. “Why did you come here at night?” she asks. He cries and says, “You’re asking me that?”
She says, “Nothing will change.”
