The episode begins with Jhanak crying helplessly beside Brij, who has just been shot. Struggling to speak, Brij tells her that he warned her—these people never let him live in peace, and they won’t spare her either. He urges her to take care of herself and insists she call Anirudh. His voice grows weaker as he says only Anirudh can help her now. Jhanak panics and pleads with him to hold on, saying they need to get to the hospital. But he keeps repeating one thing—“Call Anirudh.” She screams for help, but Brij’s hand slips from hers, and she cries out in anguish, calling him “Papa” over and over.
At the same time, Anirudh enters his room and notices Jhanak’s call. He answers immediately, concerned by her sobbing. He asks if she’s alright and whether she came home safely. Through her tears, she tells him her father has been shot. Anirudh is shocked and demands to know who did it. Jhanak says she doesn’t know—the attackers fled. He grows tense and says this is exactly what he feared. He reminds her that he had offered to drop her. Jhanak says if he had come, they might’ve killed him too. He asks if Brij is still alive, and she says he’s lying in her lap, bleeding. Anirudh tries to calm her down and tells her to call an ambulance. He promises he’s coming right away and rushes out.
He runs through the house calling for Choton, telling him there’s been an emergency. Arshi stops him and coldly remarks that if something happened to Jhanak, she can handle it herself. Anirudh doesn’t waste time explaining and says he needs to go. Shubh blocks his way and demands an explanation. Anirudh tells everyone that Brij has been shot. Shubh remains indifferent, saying Brij means nothing to him. Furious, Anirudh snaps back, asking if they even have a shred of humanity left. He says he doesn’t need anyone’s permission to leave. Anjana asks for details, and he explains everything, adding that Brij might still be alive if they hurry. Kajal tells Lalon to call the commissioner, and Anuradha insists on it too. Shubh lashes out at Choton while Arshi again tries to guilt-trip Anirudh.
Elsewhere, Appu is excited about going to sing at a concert, saying they’ll earn money and can finally buy fish for everyone. Kajal tells Lalon that she only asked the organizers to call him—she meant no harm. Lalon accuses her of begging, but Anuradha supports Kajal, saying she did nothing wrong. Appu insists they can go and sing. Kajal encourages Lalon to perform with Appu, but he refuses, saying he doesn’t want to rely on anyone’s pity. Appu is still eager, but Lalon stands firm. Kajal finally decides to take Appu herself, refusing to let anyone stifle her dreams.
Back at the house, Anirudh is furious. He accuses the family of being heartless, of choosing hatred over humanity. Arshi, Shubh, and Tanuja argue with him, saying Jhanak has brainwashed him. Anirudh says goodness still exists in the house, and he won’t let hatred define his actions. Shubh warns he’s throwing everything away for Jhanak. Anirudh calmly says they’ll never understand what Jhanak means to him. He and Choton then leave to be with her.
At the scene, Jhanak is still desperately calling for help as people gather. The police arrive and begin formalities. Jhanak yells at them, begging them to call an ambulance first. She clings to Brij, sobbing, telling him she can’t live without him. Just then, Anirudh, Choton, and Bablu arrive. Anirudh rushes to her side, and she pleads with him to save her father. She breaks down, saying they were planning to leave the city and start a quiet life in Mumbai. Anirudh gets emotional hearing her. Meanwhile, Vinayak confronts Shrishti, furious about what happened. He accuses her of planning the attack on Brij. She pretends to be shocked, but Vinayak sees right through her. He tells her she will face punishment for what she’s done. She tries to deny everything, but Vinayak says the truth is in the destroyed evidence.
Back at the scene, the inspector tells Anirudh that Brij must be taken to the hospital first, then his death can be officially confirmed. Choton asks how this happened, and the inspector says Brij was on his way back from court. They will begin a full investigation. Anirudh insists on taking him immediately. Jhanak sobs and says she’ll leave the city forever if her father is saved—she just wants this one miracle. Brij is placed on a stretcher. Everyone tries to give Jhanak hope, and Bablu gently comforts her. Anirudh promises he won’t leave her side and will honor Brij’s last wish. Jhanak, still in shock, asks if her father is really gone. Anirudh replies softly that he never said that.
UPCOMING
Arshi declares with confidence that Anirudh will always be hers. But Anirudh stuns everyone by bringing Jhanak home and saying, “I’m sorry, Arshi… I’m marrying Jhanak.” Arshi is left completely shattered.
