The episode opens with Anirudh arriving at the police station to see Jhanak. She is startled and asks why he came back after she specifically told him not to visit. Anirudh quietly asks what she would have done in his place. Jhanak replies that she would have waited for the court’s decision and urges him to return to work, but he admits he cannot focus while she is in custody. Jhanak reveals that the police may present her in court today. Anirudh assures her the commissioner will not allow any harm to come to her and blames himself for the entire situation. Jhanak gently reminds him that she only tried to help Arshi and ended up suffering for it. When Anirudh offers her food, she refuses.

Arshi soon arrives at the station to check the case status. The inspector informs her that Jhanak will indeed be taken to court. When Arshi pointedly asks if the commissioner’s influence will change anything, the inspector firmly replies that it will not—Jhanak will not receive bail. Determined, Arshi asks to meet Jhanak and learns that Anirudh is already inside with her.
Inside, Anirudh boldly confesses his love for Jhanak, indifferent to what society might think. Arshi overhears his words and storms in, furious. She lashes out at Anirudh, accusing him of betrayal. Jhanak tries to calm the tension, insisting they settle their personal issues at home. But Arshi continues to blame Jhanak for all her misfortunes until the inspector intervenes and reprimands her. Jhanak begs Anirudh to leave, but he refuses, determined to stay by her side. Arshi vows to see Jhanak punished.
Later, Anirudh returns home where Shubh confronts him about the scene at the station. Anirudh recounts his clash with Arshi. Shubh criticizes his actions, but Anirudh defends himself, claiming that Arshi mistreated Jhanak and that her legal steps were beyond reason. Arshi soon arrives, still seething, and again accuses Anirudh of betrayal. He stands firm, declaring he will eventually walk away if she continues to attack Jhanak. Arshi refuses to leave the house despite his warning.
Shaken, Arshi visits Siddharth at his office seeking comfort. She confides her determination to regain her confidence and move on. Siddharth encourages her to stay strong and, after hearing about her marital troubles, gently advises her to divorce Anirudh. He promises his support and offers friendship. Meanwhile, the police escort Jhanak to court for the next hearing.

The police take Jhanak to jail. Lalon warns Anirudh that they cannot enter the jail premises. Arshi mocks Anirudh, vowing to stop him from ever reuniting with Jhanak.
