The episode begins with Mimi noticing Jhanak busy with chores. She tells her she doesn’t need to do all this and advises her to stop working for others. Jhanak replies that if she doesn’t help, Anjana’s workload will only increase. Mimi wonders why Jhanak is taking on household chores when she herself doesn’t. Jhanak softly answers that Mimi is a family member, but she isn’t. Mimi reminds her that she is still Shrishti’s daughter, but Jhanak firmly refuses to accept that identity. Curious, Mimi asks how she tolerates everything and admits that she too mistreated Jhanak in the past. She then invites Jhanak to her wedding, but Jhanak says she will leave before it takes place. Mimi questions whether Anirudh will let her go, but Jhanak insists he has no right to stop her.

Mimi goes on to say that after her marriage, Jhanak won’t be allowed at her house. When Jhanak asks what she really wants, Mimi confesses that she loves both her parents and Lalon. Jhanak reassures her that one day Lalon’s family will accept her parents, but Mimi remains doubtful. She says her parents will never change and that her life is being ruined because of them. She adds that if they didn’t care about Anirudh’s life, they won’t care about hers either.
Elsewhere, Vinayak waits for Shrishti. When she arrives, he assumes she won’t talk to him, but she says she had her reasons for being angry. He apologizes, but she insists they stick to the point. Vinayak asks where Jhanak is, and Shrishti reveals that she is still in the Bose house. She blames Jhanak for Arshi’s miscarriage and admits she only pretended to be kind to her. Vinayak tells her that Brij Bhushan’s property is now under his control and will soon be auctioned. He also hints at a plan to kidnap Jhanak when she shows up for it.
Back at the house, Mimi asks Jhanak if she will ever get married. Jhanak says she won’t. Mimi then asks if it’s because she loves Anirudh. Jhanak avoids the question, saying she is simply going with the flow and no longer makes plans for her life. Meanwhile, Kajol advises Jhimli to divorce and move on with her life. Lalon reminds Jhimli that her marriage was never registered and encourages her to return to college. But Jhimli refuses, feeling too ashamed. Just then, Appu arrives, tells Jhimli that she prayed for her, and complains that she’s hungry. Anjana asks Jhimli to wash her hands before eating.
Shrishti, in another moment, regrets not allowing Jhanak to focus on her career. Vinayak remarks that while he managed to get rid of Brij Bhushan, Jhanak survived. He calls her lucky, and Shrishti soon leaves.
Later, Jhanak enters Arshi’s room. Arshi angrily asks why she came. Jhanak says Anirudh told her that Arshi called her. A flashback shows that Arshi accused Jhanak of knowing where her baby was. Anirudh dismissed it, saying Arshi was speaking out of trauma and insisting Jhanak could never do such a thing. Though he admitted Arshi hated Jhanak, he urged her to rest.
In the present, Arshi says she has accepted her fate but still believes Jhanak was careless that day. Jhanak suggests filing a case against the hospital, but Anirudh says it won’t bring back their baby. Arshi, however, maintains that Anirudh should never have given Jhanak that responsibility in the first place.

Arshi openly blames Jhanak for her baby’s death. Later, Anirudh pleads with Jhanak to stay for his sake.
