The episode opens with Arshi lashing out at Jhanak, accusing her of stealing her happiness. Jhanak calmly replies that she hasn’t taken anything away; in fact, she has only given Arshi reasons to smile. She explains that everything she is doing is for Arshi, for Anirudh, and for the baby. She urges Anirudh to speak to the doctor, but he tells Arshi that Jhanak is only making assumptions. He reminds Jhanak that they can’t accuse anyone without proof.

Still, Jhanak pleads with him to listen to her suspicions about Nurse Sunita and Sarita’s husband, warning that time is slipping away and they must act for the sake of the child. Choton supports her, insisting that such doubts shouldn’t be ignored. Jhanak suggests they confirm the delivery records with the doctor, and Mrinalini agrees, accompanying her to the hospital. Meanwhile, Anirudh tries to reassure a heartbroken Arshi, promising that if their child is alive, they will bring the baby back. Arshi, overwhelmed, admits she feels she cannot live without her child.
Elsewhere, Kul Bhushan calls Shrishti, but she tells him she’s dealing with a crisis. When he presses, she reveals that Arshi’s child is missing and blames Jhanak. She confesses that all her schemes against Jhanak have failed. Kul Bhushan proposes a dangerous plan: kidnap Jhanak to force her to reveal the truth. Shrishti hesitates but he is determined, handing Jhanak’s photo to a local goon named Babu, ordering him to watch her closely.
At the hospital, Anirudh questions the doctor about why no one from Arshi’s family was told about her delivery. The doctor insists she had instructed Nurse Sunita to inform them. Sunita is summoned and boldly lies, saying she did tell Jhanak and even accusing Jhanak of trying to steal Sarita’s baby. Shocked, Anirudh demands clarity on what happened after the birth. The doctor explains she had asked Sunita to place the newborn in an incubator and that the baby should have stabilized within minutes. She admits she never imagined the child would die. Mrinalini demands proof — a video of the delivery. Anirudh adds that they need both the full recording and a photograph of the baby. When the doctor turns to Sunita, she nervously says she will have to check.
Meanwhile, Rimi tells Mimi that Jhanak is behind the baby’s disappearance. Mimi is stunned and defends Jhanak, saying she cares too deeply for Arshi to ever harm her. Rimi mocks her for blindly supporting Jhanak, but Mimi warns her not to be manipulated by others.
In another scene, Appu asks Jhimli to come with her to meet Mrinalini and Anirudh. Jhimli refuses, saying she cannot face the outside world. Kajol and Anuradha try to convince her, urging her to leave the past behind. Appu reassures her that no one will insult her and promises to stand by her side. After much hesitation, Jhimli agrees. Anuradha then asks whether they will get any financial help. Kajol doubts it, reminding her that Anindo’s family is cunning, though she believes Lalon will find a way. With that, Appu and Jhimli set out.
Back at the hospital, Mrinalini warns that if Sunita cannot produce the recording, it will only strengthen Jhanak’s claims. Choton orders Sunita to hand over both the video and the photograph. The doctor agrees, admitting that if Sunita failed to take a picture, then the fault is hers. Sunita becomes defensive, insisting that no one has ever questioned her integrity before.
Jhanak then speaks up about the suspicious conversation she overheard between Sunita and Sarita’s husband. Still, Sunita maintains there is no recording or photo of the baby. Jhanak accuses her of deliberately hiding the truth and demands that the doctor take action. But the doctor refuses to point fingers without solid proof. Jhanak, however, stands firm — she is certain the baby is alive and claims Sunita sold the child to Sarita’s husband. When Anirudh presses the doctor for a name, she finally reveals it: Omkar.
Just then, Shrishti cuts in to criticize Jhanak, scolding her for carelessness. Jhanak replies firmly that she has already revealed everything she knows.
