Jhanak arrives just then, and Sunita smoothly changes the tone, declaring that while the baby did not make it, Arshi’s survival is nothing short of a miracle. The family’s grief turns into confusion as Laal and Bipasha immediately lash out at Jhanak, questioning why she failed to inform them if she knew. Choton steps forward and directly asks Jhanak whether Sunita had told her anything at all. Without hesitation, Jhanak denies it and exposes Sunita’s lie, her voice firm despite the tense atmosphere. Sunita refuses to back down, accusing Jhanak of being careless and possibly asleep when she supposedly informed her. With practiced calmness, she insists she has no reason to lie and then urges Anirudh to go see his baby. But Jhanak, sensing deceit in every word, warns everyone that something more sinister may have happened. She suggests that Arshi’s baby might not have died, but instead been stolen, and demands that Sunita speak the truth.
Elsewhere, the police close in on Anindo. He is finally arrested, ending his twisted schemes. Lalon expresses his heartfelt gratitude to the inspector for rescuing Jhimli from such a horrifying fate. The inspector, kind but firm, advises Jhimli to put the trauma behind her and start afresh with her family. Jhimli returns home, her composure breaking as she collapses in Anuradha’s arms. Through tears, Anuradha asks why she never reached out for help before matters became so dire. Kajol, her voice laced with pain, exposes Anindo’s cruelty and reveals the shocking truth—that he attempted to sell Jhimli. The revelation horrifies everyone. Lalon reassures the family that the police intervened just in time, saving Jhimli from destruction.
Appu gently consoles Jhimli, urging her to stop crying and reminding her that she was missed dearly by everyone. Anuradha, though relieved to have her back, warns Jhimli never to repeat such mistakes again. Her husband, enraged, insists that Jhanak came there with the intention of kidnapping. Shocked and insulted, Jhanak defends herself, asking why she would ever commit such an act. She then turns the tables, accusing Sarita’s husband of having private dealings with Sunita. Her words hit a nerve, but he angrily denies the charge. Jhanak, however, refuses to let it go. She warns them both that she will not stay silent if the truth is being hidden.
Elsewhere, Mimi calls Choton and learns the heartbreaking news about the baby. The weight of the tragedy overwhelms her, and later, when Anirban calls, she breaks down.
