Omi stops him, urging him to make a final decision by the end of the night. But Bhushan doesn’t hesitate—he firmly says the marriage alliance is already settled. Neil, wanting to avoid further tension, turns to Mukta and casually asks when Mohit’s ritual is. When she tells him it’s the day after tomorrow, he nods and promises he’ll be there. Then, he quietly leaves with his family.

Elsewhere, Satish notices Teju returning and demands to know where she’s been. Teju explains that Juhi was too nervous to face the Pradhan family alone, so she went with her for support. Satish is not convinced. He challenges her decision, his voice growing sharp, while Teju defends herself, pointing out that Neil was the one who approached her. Lakshmi joins in, scolding Teju as well, but Aditi steps forward in her defense. She argues that it would have been rude to ignore Neil, especially since he’s known them for so many years. Satish, however, is in no mood for reasoning. He warns Lakshmi to keep Aditi in line or he’ll deal with her himself. Teju takes offense to his tone, pushing back against his accusations, which only fuels the tension.
Mukta, unable to stay quiet, confronts Satish head-on. She insists that Teju did nothing wrong by speaking to Neil. Satish then turns his suspicion into a demand—how exactly does Teju know Neil? The air turns heavy as Lakshmi and Mukta exchange bitter words. Satish coldly reminds them that they have no permanent claim to this house; they’re here only because Omi allows it.
When pressed for an answer, Teju explains that she first met Neil in Triambak and later invited him to her home. Satish’s lips curl into a pointed remark, implying far more than he says outright. Mukta immediately challenges him to speak his mind clearly if he dares. But instead, Satish issues a warning: keep Teju away from Neil, because he’s going to be their son-in-law. Mukta argues back, but Satish cuts her off with a final threat—if Neil refuses to marry Juhi, they will face the consequences.
