Lakshmi, displeased, scolds Teju for being disrespectful to her elders and turns to Mukta, questioning the values she has taught her. But Mukta defends her daughter, saying she raised her to speak up for herself when she is right—and this time, Teju is right while the rest are wrong. Meanwhile, the Pradhan family confronts Neil about his behavior at the Chavan family gathering. They ask why he ignored Juhi and spent time speaking to Teju instead. Neil calmly replies that he simply needs time. Leena reminds him of his promise to abide by their decision, insisting he must marry Juhi since she, Vinod, and Juhi have already given their word to the Chavans. Frustrated, Neil questions why they are even asking for his opinion if it has no value.
The family speculates that Mohit might be the reason for Neil’s reluctance. Leena argues that Mohit has nothing to do with Juhi and doubts that Mukta could be unaware of his past family, given her education. Mukta and Leena’s exchange grows heated, with Neil stepping in to defend Mohit, warning against judging someone without knowing the full truth. Leena retorts that a person’s actions define their character, and the argument deepens.
Elsewhere, Vedaant asks Mukta when she will return to school, saying he wants to find a job so they no longer have to depend on others. Satish steps in, telling Vedaant he should have studied in an English-medium school in Amaravati but admits he couldn’t afford it. He advises him to continue in the Hindi-medium school instead and walks away. Lakshmi seizes the chance to criticize Mukta and her children in front of the Chavan family.
Later, Leena notices Neil defying her decisions for “some nobody” and demands to know his name. Neil reveals it is Mohit Chavan and defends him as a good man. The moment she hears the name, Leena grows tense, fearing he might be the same Mohit Chavan she knows. Determined, she doubles down—Neil must marry Juhi, and there is no room for negotiation.
