Neil walks beside Teju, telling her everyone at home must be waiting for them. He praises her grit and says he wants to help her chase her dreams, but Teju shuts him down hard. She says she doesn’t need his help and accuses him of wrecking her life by marrying her when she didn’t love him. She reminds him that Juhi was supposed to be the bride and asks why Juhi suddenly backed out. When Neil stays quiet, she presses him—what did he do to make Juhi leave?

Neil remembers the truth: he once told Juhi he loved someone else. Back in the square house, Leela fusses over decorations and asks Nandi to bring the gift they bought for Juhi. The family nudges Bhushan to tell Leena about the surprise bride. Leena arrives, all smiles, saying she’ll welcome the bride like family; she thinks Juhi is the bride and insists she will love her even more than Prachi.
Neil insists he didn’t do anything wrong. He says Juhi was happy until that night at the hospital, but Teju doesn’t believe him. She demands details, and he finally confesses that he told Juhi he couldn’t love her because his heart belonged to someone else. Teju is stunned and fires back that her instincts were right—she blames him for the chaos around everyone’s lives.
When Neil reaches to explain or touch her, Teju pulls away. He promises to respect her, to put her first, to support her dreams, even to put her ahead of his own family. She refuses him. He confesses he loves her and argues that should be enough, but mentioning her father Mohit sets her off—she warns him never to bring Mohit’s name up again and tells him he will never earn her forgiveness.
At the Pradhan house, Leena notices Rituraj arriving late and teases him, then asks him to stay for the bride’s welcome. Bhushan and Vinod try to manage the mood, and Yash jokes to ease the tension, but when Leena presses, everyone grows uneasy. Then Neil and Teju step through the door. Leena is ready to greet Juhi and freezes when she sees Teju instead. Explanations tumble out—Juhi ran away, so Neil married Teju—and Leena explodes at not being told. She reminds Neil that she warned him about marrying Teju and scolds him for defying her.
Manjari tries to calm things, saying Neil will be fine and happy, but Leena is too wounded to listen. She tells them she won’t accept Teju as her daughter-in-law, and with that she slams the door in their faces, leaving the new couple stunned on the step. Inside, the family murmurs at the test Teju faces already: Vinod tells her this is her first trial as their daughter-in-law and urges her to win Leena over. Rituraj, sharp and unkind, throws a cutting remark toward Teju, and the house fills with cold silence.
