After a long pause that feels like eternity, the doctor delivers the shattering news—Mohit has passed away. The room falls into a stunned silence. Teju and Vedant, unable to believe what they’re hearing, break down and try to rouse Mohit as though he might wake up if they just tried hard enough. Mukta is crushed. Mukta introduces herself as Mohit’s wife and tries to share the devastating news. But Lakshmi refuses to believe it. Her voice sharpens with disbelief and fury as she insists that she is Mohit’s wife and accuses Mukta of playing some sick joke. The tension and heartbreak prove too much for Mukta, who suddenly collapses, overwhelmed by grief and shock.
Teju, worried, picks up the phone and introduces herself as Mohit’s daughter. Her voice breaks as she delivers the unbearable truth to Lakshmi. On the other end, Lakshmi is equally shaken. The words hit her like a thunderclap, and she too collapses in disbelief. At Chavan Nivas, the family scrambles in panic, trying to revive her and understand what’s happened. Back at Mukta’s house, Teju remains close to her mother, gently comforting her while trying to manage the storm of emotions swirling around them.
