Meanwhile, Manjari questions Neil about letting such a critical decision rest entirely in his parents’ hands. Neil responds thoughtfully, saying he trusts them but asks whether a person cannot change his own mind. Manjari insists that he must fight for his own happiness. Amai, Nandini, and Prachi overhear the conversation and immediately accuse Manjari of manipulating Neil against the family. Amai demands to know why she is interfering, but Manjari remains steadfast, explaining that she would usually stay silent, yet since this concerns Neil’s future, she cannot remain quiet. Later, Mukta tells Teju about a surprising revelation from Neil at the temple—he expressed his desire to marry her and said he would wait for her decision. Teju instantly dismisses the idea, questioning why Mukta did not reject him outright. Mukta clarifies that she already declined Neil’s proposal, but he mentioned that Mohit intended to arrange Teju’s marriage. Teju assumes Neil spoke out of pity, noticing the contrast between her life before and after leaving Amaravati.
She firmly declares that she will never marry someone like Neil. Mukta defends him, recounting all he has done for their family, but Teju refuses to accept the proposal, insisting she does not intend to insult him.
Tensions rise as Nandini accuses Manjari of failing to understand the meaning of family. A heated argument erupts, but Neil steps in to calm everyone down, asking them to stop. Prachi reminds him that they are visiting Juno’s house the next day and asks if he will accompany them. Amai warns Neil to focus only on Juhi and no one else. Manjari defends him, insisting that he owes no explanation to anyone, yet Prachi urges her to stay out of the matter. Amai questions when Manjari will move on from the past, and with a bitter edge in her voice, Manjari declares she will never forget or forgive. She storms off, leaving Neil overwhelmed and asking everyone to leave him alone.
The next day, Bhushan announces the family’s plan to visit the Chavan household to finalize the wedding date, confident that Neil will not oppose their decision. Vinod, however, expresses doubt, recalling past complications. Amruta criticizes Teju for stirring the tension, but Jeetu argues that she should not be blamed for her father’s mistakes. He believes Teju is a better match for Neil than Juhi. Leena, however, adamantly refuses to accept Teju as her daughter-in-law, vowing that she will leave the house if Neil marries her. When Bhushan and Jeetu demand her reasoning, Leena keeps her painful past hidden—revealing only that her first love, Mohit, had humiliated her publicly, mocking her feelings. Determined to prevent Mohit’s daughter from entering their family, she stands firm, insisting she will never accept Teju.
