When Vedaan tries to step in, Tejaswini snaps at him for interrupting, making the boy cry. Mukta then tells her that she has the chance to build a stable future and asks if love is really the only condition for marriage. She argues that Neil is an exceptional man—someone any girl would be lucky to marry.

Elsewhere, Juhi confides in Aditi about her insecurities, doubting whether she is truly worthy of Neil. Aditi comforts her, assuring her that Neil will bring her happiness and reminding her not to underestimate herself. Juhi admits she just hopes everything falls into place, and Aditi embraces her warmly, promising that things will work out. Back with Tejaswini, Mukta reminds her that Mohit’s wish was for her to marry Neil. Tejaswini refuses to even entertain the topic, fearing it will only stir up unnecessary complications. When Vedaan curiously asks if Neil actually likes her, Tejaswini quickly silences him, insisting that hardships are temporary but wrong choices can ruin lives forever. She emphasizes that Neil and Juhi’s marriage is already arranged, and nothing can change that.
Mukta then shocks Tejaswini by revealing that Neil truly wants to marry her. Tejaswini immediately dismisses it, convinced that it’s not love but pity driving his proposal. Mukta counters her, firmly insisting that Neil genuinely cares for her. Tejaswini stubbornly denies having any feelings for him, but Mukta taunts her, hinting that she knows what Tejaswini’s heart truly wants. Tejaswini holds her ground, firmly declaring that she doesn’t wish to marry at all. She admits that for the first time she understands Mohit’s decisions—no one could ever endure living under Lakshmi’s rule. Vedaan brings up Mukta’s own struggles, and Tejaswini reassures him by promising to get him admitted into school. Mukta warns her that their family will never allow her to finish her education, but Tejaswini refuses to give up. She vows to complete her exams and fulfill Mohit’s dream for her.
The next day, Neil calls Tejaswini regarding Vedaan’s admission. Irritated, Tejaswini questions why he’s so invested, reminding him that he’s engaged to Juhi and should be focusing on her instead. Neil calmly explains that his concern isn’t about obligation—it’s about his bond with her family and with Mohit, which he cannot ignore. Meanwhile, in another household, Sonali suggests sending shagun to Neil’s family, but Satish informs her that Neil’s side has already sent theirs. As they open the box of sweets, Vedaan reaches excitedly for one, only to have Lakshmi slap his hand away. She cruelly mocks him before eventually handing out the sweets to everyone else.
Meanwhile, Neil spots Tejaswini walking on the street, unaware of a group of mischievous kids preparing to throw water balloons at her. Acting quickly, Neil pulls his car between her and the children, shielding her from being drenched. He rolls down the window and urges her to get in, but true to her stubborn nature, Tejaswini resists and starts arguing with him instead of listening.
