Neil surprises the family by asking Leena if they can cancel the wedding plans scheduled for Sunday. When they press him for a reason, Neil admits he’s just not ready to get married. Leena remarks that it feels like she’s talking to Rituraj instead of Neil, while Alok tries to reassure him that getting cold feet is normal and tells him not to worry. Neil responds with skepticism. Then Manjari arrives and criticizes the family for pressuring Neil into marriage against his will. She urges Neil to follow his own heart, sharing how she was forced into a marriage chosen for her, which ended in loneliness and heartbreak. But she assures Neil he’s not alone now—she’ll stand by him.

Leena defends the family’s intentions, insisting they only wanted the best for Manjari. Still, Manjari remains bitter, and the argument heats up until Neil steps in, telling everyone he’ll meet the girl on Sunday but privately decides not to go through with the marriage. Sensing something is wrong, Leena decides to find out what’s really going on with Neil.
Meanwhile, Sonali informs Mukta and her children that they can only stay in Lakshmi’s room since no other rooms are available. This sparks a fight between Lakshmi and Sonali, with Lakshmi accusing Sonali of trying to push them out of the house. Sonali insists there’s no other option, and Lakshmi retorts that Sonali should accommodate them in her own room—an idea Sonali quickly rejects, escalating the tension. Mukta tries to calm things down by agreeing to sleep in the verandah, but Aditi objects, pointing out the mosquito problem. She fondly recalls how Mohit used to look after them and promises to do her best now that he’s gone.
Teju advises Mukta to return to their own home, hoping they’ll find a better solution there. But Mukta reminds Teju and Vedaant that their house in Amaravati was government-granted and that with Mohit gone, it no longer belongs to them. With nowhere else to turn, they must stay despite the ongoing conflicts. Lakshmi’s remarks only add to the family tension.
