Lakshmi coldly reminds Mukta that the comforts her children once enjoyed were all thanks to Mohit’s money—and now that he’s gone, those luxuries are no longer theirs. Refusing to give up her bed, Lakshmi makes it clear she won’t compromise. Aditi calmly offers her the bed, saying they’ll manage on the floor, but Lakshmi mocks her for the offer. Still, she half-jokingly invites Aditi to join her, which Aditi declines, saying she still has some self-respect left. She then turns to Teju, asking if she can adjust on the floor for the night, and Teju agrees without complaint.

Lakshmi takes this moment to announce that she won’t be doing any house chores from the next day, leaving the responsibility to Mukta and Teju. Sonali supports the decision, telling Mukta it’s time they accepted their new reality. Lakshmi pointedly notes that while Sonali speaks up, Teju has remained quiet. Teju immediately responds, assuring her mother that she’ll take over the chores and is willing to learn whatever she doesn’t already know. Aditi offers to teach Teju how to manage things around the house. As Sonali leaves, Mukta, her children, and Aditi settle on the floor. When Vedant asks for a pillow, Teju gently tells him to manage for the night and promises to get him one the next day. Vedant agrees without protest.
Elsewhere, Neil is in his room, clearly disturbed, when Amai, Nandini, Prachi, and Yash sneak in and catch him engrossed in his phone. Yash’s stumble draws Neil’s attention, and he quickly hides his phone. The group confronts him about his behavior ever since his return from Amaravati, but Neil insists everything is fine. Nandini brings up what Leena told them—that Neil met a grieving family after the father passed away—and asks who they were. Neil hesitantly reveals the family included a woman and two children, then questions why they’re so interested. Amai simply expresses concern for the family and how they’ll survive.
Later that night, Aditi lies awake thinking of Mohit, overcome with emotion and regret that she never got to see him one last time. When Lakshmi snaps at her to stop crying and sleep, Aditi quietly turns away. Yet even Lakshmi, alone in her thoughts, begins to silently cry, missing Mohit deeply.
Back in Neil’s room, his frustration spills over when Nandini brings up wedding shopping. He angrily declares that he’s tired of hearing about marriage and wonders if there’s anything else to life. Nandini, stunned, apologizes and turns to leave, but Neil quickly regrets his tone and apologizes. Amai urges Neil to open up, but he refuses to say anything more.
