Neil gently asks Juhi to address him in a more casual way instead of always being formal. She hesitates at first but eventually agrees to give it a try. As they continue talking, Neil’s cousins secretly listen from a distance, curious about their conversation. Neil then asks Juhi about her plans for the future. Juhi admits that she doesn’t have any of her own and believes she will simply follow whatever is decided for her once she gets married. Hearing this, Neil encourages her to think differently, reminding her that she has the right to live life on her own terms and make her own decisions. His words make Juhi pause, and she agrees with him, showing a glimpse of trust in his advice.

Later, Neil candidly tells Juhi that he doesn’t want to marry her. To his surprise, Juhi responds calmly, saying she already knew. She explains that from the beginning, she could sense his hesitation about the marriage, but over time, she thought he had accepted it. Neil tries to share something important with her, but before he can continue, his cousins jump in and interrupt. Irritated, Neil scolds them and walks away in frustration. Left behind, Juhi grows curious and asks Nandini what Neil might have wanted to say. Nandini playfully suggests that maybe Neil has fallen in love with her, leaving Juhi thoughtful.
Meanwhile, Teju searches for a job, remembering the promise she made to Mohit—that she would set things right at their grandparents’ home. Though her initial intention was to find work for Vedaant and Mukta, her heart now tells her she also has a responsibility toward her grandparents, and she feels determined to fulfill it.
After visiting the Pradhan family, Juhi shares her experience with her sisters. She tells them how Neil spoke about her studies and future, and she admits she liked how seriously he took those matters. Listening to this, Teju feels relieved that Neil treated Juhi respectfully, but deep down, she remains cautious. In her eyes, Neil is no different from most men—at first, he swore he wouldn’t marry anyone else, but once he realized she no longer cared about him, he quickly changed his mind.
Later, Aditi asks Teju if there is someone special in her life. Teju doesn’t answer, keeping quiet, which prompts Aditi to tease her, saying she must have broken plenty of hearts already since she’s so clever and capable. Teju smiles at her sister’s words and reassures her that there is nothing wrong with her either. She comforts Aditi, telling her that she will surely find her place in a good family one day. Aditi becomes emotional, admitting that the only person who used to speak to her with such warmth was Mohit, and now Teju does the same, which touches her deeply.
