A woman praises Rajat for expressing his love for his wife in Marathi, even though he’s a Gujarati, and asks her husband to do something similar. Mrunmayee tells Savi that Rajat jiju is surprisingly romantic. Milind also compliments Rajat and says he should take lessons from him. Rajat jokingly says Milind should learn from his teacher, Savi, who gives lectures every morning. Sai then tells Rajat his speech was great and asks if he loves Pari Mamma. Rajat gets nervous and suggests Sai feed Pari Mamma something as she’s hungry. Sai goes to get food. Rajat asks Savi how the speech was, and she says it was good.
Isha says it was outstanding and asks where Rajat learned Marathi. Rajat replies that he learned it from a teacher at home who always gives him lectures. Isha asks who wrote his speech, and Rajat says Mr. Bhosale. She assumes he means Shantanu, but Rajat points to the office peon, Mr. Bhosale, and asks if she knows him. Isha recalls an incident from her office inquiry and says no. Rajat then gathers the family and Ahana and announces that they’ve planned Ahana and Aman’s engagement in a few days, which makes Ahana very happy. Mrunmayee, however, is shocked and drops her food plate.
At the police station, the Inspector insists Arsh sign some documents, but Arsh refuses until his lawyer arrives. While waiting, he notices Jigar in a lockup and asks the Inspector why Rajat’s brother-in-law is there. The Inspector explains that Jigar has been accused of molesting several women in Canada and was caught trying to molest Savi. He will likely go to jail for a long time. Arsh gets permission to meet Jigar and tells him he has heard that Jigar is also an enemy of Rajat. Arsh suggests that if Jigar allies with him, they can both gain from the situation. Jigar is intrigued and asks how. Arsh says Rajat is blind not to notice how beautiful Savi is, and if Jigar helps him, they can destroy Rajat by revealing his weaknesses. Jigar agrees to the plan.
Meanwhile, Savi enters Mrunmayee’s room and finds her crying. Mrunmayee tries to compose herself, but Savi says she understands how she feels and offers to talk to Aman. Mrunmayee, however, refuses to beg for Aman’s love and says she won’t wait for him, even if he marries someone else. Savi tells her that it’s not as easy as it seems. She sees that Aman is unhappy with Rajat’s decision, but agreed to it for Rajat’s sake. Mrunmayee believes Aman will never oppose Rajat. Savi reassures her, saying she won’t let Rajat succeed this time.
The next day, Rajat arranges Ahana and Aman’s engagement preparations at Bhosale’s and asks Savi to help Ahana with engagement shopping. A boy named Sagar arrives with a bouquet and greets Shantanu and Isha. He mentions he came to meet Mrunmayee directly from the airport and is warmly welcomed by her. Savi introduces Sagar as Mrunmayee’s fiancé. Rajat is surprised and asks when this happened. Isha explains that Sagar is Shantanu’s best friend’s son and immediately liked Mrunmayee when he saw her picture. Sagar, however, says that’s a lie and that he fell in love with Mrunmayee at first sight. He then proposes to marry her. Aman watches them, feeling jealous.
