Rajat arrives at the temple and notices a devotee painfully climbing the temple steps on his knees. Curious, he asks another man about it, who explains that many believe their heartfelt prayers are answered by God if they do so. Moved by the idea, Rajat drops to his knees and begins ascending the steps himself, each movement filled with devotion and desperation. His knees start to bleed from the rough stone, but he pushes through the pain, his mind flooded with memories of Savi—her strength, her unwavering faith in others, and her support for him. As he reaches the temple sanctum, he bows his head in prayer, pleading with the divine to bring Savi back to health. He takes a sacred thread from the priest and rushes to the hospital.

At the hospital, Rajat gives the sacred thread to a nurse, asking her to tie it on Savi. The nurse is startled by the state of his knees and tries to tend to his wounds, but Rajat refuses any treatment, saying only Savi matters right now. Seeing his insistence, the nurse gives in and ties the thread around Savi’s wrist. Moments later, she notices a sudden change in Savi’s vitals and calls for the doctor.
The doctor hurries in, quickly preparing the defibrillator as Savi’s condition declines. Watching helplessly, Rajat fears the worst, convinced his prayers were in vain. But just as things seem bleak, Savi’s vitals begin to stabilize. The doctor is stunned and calls it nothing short of a miracle. He informs the family that Savi is out of danger but needs to be monitored closely. A wave of relief washes over everyone. Just then, Sai arrives and insists she won’t leave Savi’s side. She notices the blood on Rajat’s clothes and immediately asks what happened. When he explains about the temple and the thread, Sai becomes emotional. She gently scolds him for hurting himself like this, and the family looks on with concern.
Bhagyashree brings Sai to Savi’s room while the nurse again urges Rajat to get medical attention. Tara, visibly shaken, pleads with him to let the doctor at least clean his wounds. But Rajat brushes everyone off, saying his pain means nothing compared to what he’s put Savi through. He admits that watching her suffer is far more unbearable than anything he feels. Standing at a distance, Shantanu quietly watches Rajat’s transformation—a man weighed down by remorse, slowly beginning to redeem himself.
Later, the doctor informs the family that Savi has regained consciousness and they can visit her. Everyone rushes in to see her. Isha lovingly scolds Savi for not taking proper care of herself. Sai remains beside her, eventually dozing off while holding her hand, overwhelmed by the emotional rollercoaster of the day.
Meanwhile, Mrunmayi brings a stack of patient files to Shantanu, frustrated that she can’t find Savi’s specific one. Shantanu asks Rajat to go through the records with him. As Rajat flips through the documents, he suddenly freezes—he finds a record stating that Savi had been shot. Shocked and confused, he looks to Shantanu for answers. With a heavy heart, Shantanu explains everything: how Savi once lost the love of her life, Ishaan, and how that heartbreak led her down a difficult path. Her life has been filled with silent suffering, and though she always wore a brave face, she carried the pain of unfulfilled dreams. Shantanu adds that love never seems to last in Savi’s life—it always leaves her behind.
Hearing all this, Rajat is devastated. Guilt tightens its grip around him as he realizes he never truly knew the battles Savi had fought. He reflects on how she never even mentioned her dream of becoming an IAS officer. The weight of that truth crushes him, and he’s left wishing he’d taken the time to truly see her for who she is.
