Tejaswini firmly tells Neil that nothing can ever happen between them, leaving him lost in thoughts of their moments together. Wanting to ease her sadness, Neil gently asks her to sing. She hesitates, suspecting he is mocking her because of her vulnerable state. But Neil reassures her—reminding her that unlike at home, where Lakshmi scolded her for singing, she is free here, without fear. His kindness moves her deeply, and though she thanks him, he asks her not to say it in that way. Finally, she agrees to sing. As her voice fills the air, tears roll down her cheeks. Neil quietly offers her a handkerchief, telling her that dreams should live in her eyes, not tears. She apologizes for spoiling the moment, but he treasures it, insisting he will keep the handkerchief as a memory. Soon after, he suggests they head back, reminding her that her family must be waiting.

Meanwhile, at home, Satish questions Mukta about Tejaswini’s school search. Mukta explains that Tejaswini went to meet the principal, but Satish wonders aloud why she didn’t take Juhi along. Lakshmi bitterly remarks that one day Tejaswini will snatch everything from Juhi, angering Aditi, who quickly rebukes her. Aditi accuses Lakshmi of growing arrogant after receiving money, while Mukta tries to calm everyone, saying things will improve once Tejaswini finds a job. But Satish sternly declares that girls shouldn’t work—he will find a husband for Tejaswini instead. Lakshmi doubts she will agree, but Satish arrogantly insists she won’t dare to disobey him.
On the drive home, Neil recalls Tejaswini’s words about another man in her life. A melancholic version of the title track plays in the background. When he drops her off, she urges him to forget everything they discussed. Neil reassures her that he won’t reveal anything, and promises she will never get into trouble because of him again. Encouraging her to chase her passion, he reminds her that Mohit wanted her to become a successful singer. He adds that the man she loves should help her achieve that dream, making her think of Rithu Raj’s confession. He tells her that singing is her soul, and she can’t live without it. Smiling faintly, she says he speaks beautifully, and he replies that it’s because he speaks from the heart.
But unknown to them, Satish watches their interaction from a distance. Realizing Tejaswini had gone to meet Neil, his anger boils over. Storming into the house, he insults Mukta and Tejaswini, demanding that Omi take strict action. Lakshmi questions what mistake Tejaswini has even committed, when Tejaswini walks in. Satish confronts her directly. She lies, saying she had gone to find a school for Vedaan, but inside she trembles, knowing they may have discovered the truth. Suddenly, Satish slaps her hard, leaving everyone shocked. Mukta immediately speaks up in protest, unable to stay silent against his cruelty.
