Arjun asks Kashvi to stop and steps forward. Nitya stands frozen. Kashvi is surprised to see Arjun and asks if he’s really here. Arjun explains that he knew she was at the venue and guessed she was talking to Micky. He had called Micky, who confessed everything, including how Nitya threatened to have everyone arrested.
Flashback within flashback: Arjun calling Micky, who nervously tells him the whole truth.
Back in the present, Arjun confronts Nitya, furious. He tells her that while her husband is fighting for his life in the hospital, she’s busy playing ugly games. He asks what kind of satisfaction she gets from this. Nitya defensively says Romila slapped her. Arjun tells her that being mature means handling things gracefully, not humiliating Kashvi by making her clean a sandal.
He reminds Nitya that Kashvi helped save his father’s life and urges her to withdraw the police complaint. Nitya gives in and agrees. Arjun then turns to Dadi and Kashvi to apologize. Dadi tells him there’s no need—none of it was his fault. Nitya announces she’s taken the complaint back and tries to leave, but Arjun insists she apologize to everyone. Nitya mutters a sorry to Romila, Dadi, Kashvi, and the family. Dadi tells her and Arjun to head to the hospital now.
At the hospital, the doctor gives good news—Mr. Jagdish is stable. Arjun and Nitya visit him. Arjun asks how the accident happened. Jagdish says the truck driver hit him intentionally, but he’s puzzled—he’s not handling any big project or criminal case anymore. Arjun insists someone’s behind this. Just then, Meera calls.
Meera tells Arjun she and Karun are okay and that Karun is asleep. She hasn’t told him about the accident. Arjun assures her that Jagdish is doing well and that he’ll be coming home soon.
Back home, Arjun shares with Meera how he found a hidden staircase to a secret basement room in Pradyuman’s house. Ever since the doctor mentioned Neelam’s mysterious death, he’s worried about Kashvi’s safety. Meera agrees they need rest since they’re attending Karun’s annual function the next day.
Next morning:
At the school function, Meera spots Kashvi and waves to her. Kashvi notices, but doesn’t respond. The teacher announces that the Janmashtami play will highlight Lord Krishna’s birth, with Karun Bajwa in the lead. She mentions that Karun is special—raised by two mothers: one who gave him life and the other who gave him love and values.
Kashvi silently admires Meera’s love for Karun, likening her to Yashoda. Meera, on the other hand, reflects that Kashvi will always be Devki—Karun’s first mother. Meera steps outside to call Arjun but suddenly feels dizzy. Some ladies help her into the principal’s office.
Karun’s friend spots Meera being taken away and decides to inform Karun.
Meanwhile, Arjun views newly acquired CCTV footage and sees the truck targeting his father deliberately. He asks the police to trace the vehicle, but they find it has a fake number plate. Arjun notices something unique—a snake painted on the plate—and asks them to play it again.
Back at school, the principal checks on Meera. She assures them she’s okay—it’s just part of her pregnancy, as she’s in her third month. Karun overhears the conversation. The principal congratulates Meera, saying Karun will soon have a sibling. He mentions she’ll be very busy once the baby arrives. Meera quickly denies it, but Karun has already walked away.
Outside, Karun’s friend manipulates him. He tells Karun that now Meera will only care about her own child, and Karun will be pushed aside like a stepchild. He warns Karun that all the love, attention, and care will go to the baby. This hurts Karun deeply.
The announcement is made for Karun’s performance. Kashvi and Meera cheer for him. Karun steps on stage but remains silent. He’s too overwhelmed. Meera grows concerned. The crowd murmurs that he’s forgotten his lines. Karun suddenly runs off stage.
Kashvi and Meera chase after him. A security guard tries to stop Karun and tells him to return to the stage. Karun lies, saying the play is over and that he’s going to his dad. He pushes past the guard and escapes. Moments later, Kashvi and Meera reach the gate. The guard tells them Karun ran out. They split up to search in different directions.
Arjun arrives at school and learns from the guard that Karun has run away. He’s shocked.
Karun, meanwhile, walks alone, thinking that Meera will no longer care about him after her own child is born. He stumbles upon a group of men discussing the dahi handi. They say they need a brave boy to climb and break it for a big prize.
Karun steps forward and says, “I can do it.” One of the men asks if he’s sure.Karun nods, determined: “Yes.”
