The episode begins with Ranbir accidentally dropping the ring, sending a ripple of worry through the room. He quickly apologizes, but the moment has already unsettled everyone. Adrija asks Meghla to help find it, and just then Simran happily announces that the ring has been found. Param hands it to Ranbir, who, with a small, uneasy smile, admits he’s feeling a bit clumsy today and suggests that Adrija put it on herself. Guru ji watches the exchange closely.

Ranbir’s eyes drift to Meghla, and a shadow of sadness passes over his face. Adrija slips the ring onto her finger as everyone claps in celebration. Meghla, holding the other ring, quietly gives it to Adrija, who then places it on Ranbir’s finger. Ranbir notices it’s a little tight and tells her to let him keep it until it’s altered. From the crowd, a woman comments snidely that the couple hasn’t even exchanged rings properly. Simran quickly smooths things over, saying such little mishaps happen at grand events.
The mood lightens as Ranbir and Adrija cut the cake and feed each other, though Meghla’s gaze lingers on Ranbir. Balveer announces that the ceremony is complete and invites them to sit. Ranbir chats with Dadu, but Diljot, overhearing, reacts sharply. She recalls that something similar happened to her once and admits she can’t forget it. Guru ji tries to listen in, curious. Arjun gently tells Diljot to let the past go and not create trouble at Ranbir’s engagement. She nods but admits she doesn’t know what to do. Arjun seats her, while Guru ji grows suspicious. He wonders if Ranbir tricked him into coming and considers leaving altogether.
Meanwhile, Meher greets her mother and sister warmly. Ranbir notices Meghla nearby and fusses over her well-being, drawing glances from those around them. Chandan speaks up, saying Ranbir’s concern is justified. Zoravar greets Meher’s family and encourages her to meet Abhin. But Abhin, saving his energy for a performance, declines any food for now.
Simran steps forward to begin the Sangeet, cheerfully declaring that no one can refuse her requests because she’s Ranbir’s only bhabhi. Abhin then takes the stage, his voice filling the room with the soulful melody of Aane Wala Pal… As the song plays, Meghla’s mind drifts into a dreamlike moment, imagining herself with Ranbir.
