Ranbir expresses his desire to visit Guruji’s house, but Meher is strongly against it. She’s afraid that if Ranbir discovers the truth, everything in their lives might fall apart. The rest of the family is just as curious—they don’t understand why Meher is so determined to keep Ranbir away from Guruji, especially when there’s no clear reason. Despite the seemingly good bond between Guruji and Meghla’s family, Meher insists that he must not be invited to the wedding. Simran is also confused, wondering what wrong Guruji could have possibly done to deserve this treatment. Eventually, Meher hints at a long-standing and deeply personal history between her family and Guruji, but she still refuses to be completely honest with Ranbir, even as he presses for answers.

Laddu offers a clue—he says that Guruji once had a romantic connection with someone in their family. But Meher quickly shuts it down, not wanting to name the person involved. On the same day, Meghla plans to go visit Guruji, but her health is still fragile. Her parents are worried and try to stop her from leaving the house. Meanwhile, Adrija is uneasy about Meghla meeting Ranbir at Guruji’s place. Meghla reassures them all, saying she feels strong enough to go and that there’s no need to worry.
As the pressure builds, Meher finally opens up to the family. She reveals that Diljot was once deeply in love with Guruji, whose real name was Indrajeet. He had a strong bond with her, but one day he changed his identity and disappeared. Diljot, unable to cope with the heartbreak, clung to his memory and never moved on. At that moment, Diljot happens to walk in and overhears everything. The moment she hears Indrajeet’s name, she’s overcome with emotion and loses control.
Laddu explains that Diljot’s condition stems from this very love. She loved Indrajeet with all her heart but was beaten and abused for ever speaking his name. That trauma broke her, leading to her mental breakdown. Deeply moved, Ranbir vows to give his aunt the justice she was denied. He promises her that he’ll bring her lost love back into her life, and he insists on meeting Guruji immediately. Meher warns him of the challenges ahead, but Ranbir remains firm—he says he’s ready for anything. His determination gives Diljot hope, and she embraces him tightly, filled with renewed strength.
Meanwhile, Meghla finally receives permission from her parents to visit Guruji. Adrija’s father chooses not to bring up her wedding, fearing it might upset Meghla. Adrija, however, decides to accompany Meghla so that Ranbir won’t get a chance to meet her alone. When Meghla arrives at Guruji’s house, she begins singing. Ranbir, having come there himself, hears her voice from outside the room and stands silently, listening to her performance.

Ranbir realises that Meghla had intentionally misled him with false information. It becomes clear that she wanted to create a rift between them, hoping he would end the relationship.
