Ranbir sits quietly, lost in thought about the love story between Diljot and Guruji. As he hears Meghla singing nearby, her voice fills the room and pulls him back to the moment. He wonders what Guruji wanted to say and feels a strong urge to apologize to him. Guruji warmly praises Meghla’s singing and greets Ranbir, asking Meghla to prepare some tea. He calls Ankush to help her, and Ankush readily agrees. Watching Ankush, Ranbir suspects he might be the mysterious man connected to the story. When Ankush offers him tea, Ranbir declines politely at first, but Ankush insists since he is a guest of Guruji. Guruji gently tells Ranbir not to be angry and asks Meghla to bring him black tea.

Ranbir quietly tells Guruji that he’s learned about Diljot’s story today, but Guruji is visibly shocked and refuses to discuss it. The two exchange tense words as Guruji tries to avoid the topic. Ranbir presses him, asking what Guruji meant by some words he once said, but Guruji says it’s impossible to explain. Ranbir insists, reminding Guruji that Diljot is living her life all for him, even though they are separated. Guruji cuts him off, saying he regrets what he said and is glad Meghla never became part of Ranbir’s life. He calls Meghla a rare diamond that not everyone can have.
Ranbir offers an apology on behalf of his family, but Guruji dismisses it. Meghla and Ankush bring the tea, and Guruji invites Ranbir to join him. As Meghla hands Ranbir the cup, Ankush encourages him to drink. Guruji introduces Ankush as Meghla’s friend and student, who lives in the USA and is talented in singing. Ranbir acknowledges knowing Ankush loves music. Meghla adds that Ankush had come to pick them up that day, so maybe Ranbir has heard about him. Ranbir confirms this.
Curious, Ranbir asks Ankush if he is really Meghla’s friend, and Ankush confirms with a smile. Guruji praises Ankush as a good man. Ankush suggests Meghla should come to the US, and Ranbir agrees, teasing that Ankush wants to take Meghla there. Meghla says she and Guruji plan to attend a music concert together, which surprises Ranbir. Ankush insists it’s just a concert and suggests Meghla should enjoy sightseeing too. Ranbir jokes that Meghla might end up living there forever, but Meghla laughs and reminds him that her home, family, and Guruji are here. Guruji agrees, saying he would never send Meghla away permanently.
Ranbir decides it’s time to leave, and Meghla says she will head home. When Ranbir asks Ankush if he’ll drop Meghla back, Ankush says he has some work and can’t. Before leaving, Ranbir says they will meet again, but Guruji quietly warns Ranbir it might be better if they don’t cross paths again.

Ranbir and Guruji get into a heated argument. Guruji accuses Ranbir of blaming him unfairly. Ranbir demands to know who arranged Meghla’s alliance with that man. Guruji denies any involvement. Realizing this, Ranbir concludes that Adrija must have lied to him.
