Chandan steps in and thanks everyone for attending the ritual, but firmly tells them there’s no need to crowd around when the doctor is already taking care of Adrija. He asks them to leave. Guruji agrees with him, but some of the women refuse, insisting they will even accompany Adrija to the hospital. Simran tries to calm them down and requests they not say anything harsh. Chandan gently asks Meghla to sit, while Mahua fumes in anger. Guruji consoles Meghla, telling her not to take Mahua’s words to heart.
Harman speaks up, saying it isn’t fair to put the blame on Meghla, because Adrija herself had given consent for the marriage. Param agrees. Just then, the doctor says Adrija needs to be shifted to the hospital immediately. Mahua quickly pushes Meghla away from her daughter. Harman offers to bring the car, but Mahua refuses his help. Even when Guruji offers his own car, Mahua rejects it, saying instead that he should focus on getting Meghla married.
Ranbir arrives, worried, and asks about Adrija’s condition. Mahua lashes out at him too, blaming him for everything that has happened. Chandan says they are taking Adrija to the hospital, and Ranbir can come along if he wants. Mahua instantly objects, saying she won’t allow it. Ranbir refuses to back down and tells her that while he cannot fulfill every unreasonable demand of hers, he will still go—for humanity’s sake. Mahua tells him to stay away, but he insists. As Adrija is taken away, Meghla breaks down in tears. Ranbir consoles her, saying nothing will happen to Adrija, and reassures her that until Adrija gives her consent, the marriage won’t take place. But he also makes it clear that he cannot marry anyone else except Meghla—that decision is final.
Meanwhile, Chandan and Mahua argue over taking Adrija to the hospital. Meghla tries to calm her mother, promising that Adrija will be fine, but Mahua only lashes out more. Ranbir tells Meghla not to stand there and take the insults—that her parents will handle things. He admits he cannot bear to see her humiliated like this. Mahua bitterly declares that both of them love each other. Meghla quietly asks if she should come along to the hospital, but Mahua shuts her down. Chandan then says they will go in Harman’s car.
Param, noticing the tension, suggests Meghla go with Ranbir, but she refuses. He presses her for an explanation, and Simran steps in, saying Ranbir is already under a lot of stress and it would be better if Meghla went with him. Reluctantly, Meghla leaves with Ranbir as the others head to the hospital. Along the way, she breaks down, blaming him for everything. She cries that her own mother doesn’t trust her anymore, and asks why she has to suffer for mistakes she didn’t even make.
At the hospital, Adrija is rushed inside while Meghla and Ranbir arrive soon after. Mahua immediately scolds Meghla again. Simran tries to reason with her, explaining that they had asked Meghla to go with Ranbir, and it was the right thing for them to talk about their future—after all, their marriage is set for tomorrow. But Mahua refuses to listen. She tells Meghla and Ranbir to leave, insisting that she will handle Adrija on her own. She says she will speak to Chandan or Guruji about the marriage, and decides to move with Adrija to the school staff quarters.
