The episode begins with Adrija watching Meghla silently cry while forcing a smile. Meanwhile, Mahua turns to Meher, puzzled, and asks what she means. Meher explains that everyone spoke to Adrija the night before, and Ranbir made it clear that he has no objection to marrying her. Now, it all comes down to Mahua’s decision. Hearing this, Mahua replies that this is what they had always hoped for. Meher adds that their family has also grown fond of Adrija and now only Mahua’s answer matters. Mahua gives her consent, saying yes from their side too. Meher expresses her happiness, saying it’s best if the wedding happens soon. Mahua agrees and says she’ll speak to Chandan and call back. Meher is thrilled and tells her they’re happy with Ranbir’s decision, declaring that Adrija will be their daughter-in-law. Mahua thanks her and says Adrija is the perfect match for their family. She showers Adrija with praise, clearly pleased.

Elsewhere, Chandan walks in to find Meghla accidentally cutting her hand. He gets upset, and an argument breaks out between him and Mahua. Mahua checks on Meghla, asking if she’s okay. Meghla simply nods and says she’s fine. Meher, watching them from a distance, assumes that Chandan will soon give his confirmation. She tells the family that Mahua didn’t mention Meghla’s marriage, but it looks like a yes. Harman and Simran advise forgetting the past, while Arjun worries that Ranbir may have rushed into this decision. Meher disagrees, saying such decisions aren’t made in haste. Mahua informs Chandan about Ranbir’s proposal, but Chandan reacts angrily. He says Ranbir isn’t trustworthy. Mahua tries to convince him, reminding him that they won’t find a better match or family for Adrija. Adrija then spins a lie to Chandan and Mahua, claiming that Ranbir apologized to her for his earlier mistake. Meghla, keeping her emotions hidden, says she has no issues and that this is what she always wanted. She walks away into her room and breaks down in tears, heartbroken. Ranbir, too, is shown silently grieving. The song “Judaai” plays in the background, emphasizing the pain both are feeling.
Soon after, Zoravar arrives home. Balveer shares the news that Mahua has accepted the proposal and that they’re bringing the shagun for Ranbir and Adrija’s engagement. Harman assures everyone they’ll handle all the preparations. Zoravar, however, isn’t pleased. He brings up that Adrija’s family is Bengali and says he never had good relations with Bengalis. Meher hears this. Zoravar then asks about Meher’s whereabouts. Meher steps forward and says she’s going to visit her friend Saroj, whose husband is unwell. Zoravar questions her intentions, asking if she’s a doctor or a nurse. Balveer steps in, saying Meher is simply offering emotional support. Zoravar snaps back, saying Meher didn’t even ask his permission before deciding to go.
Ranbir interrupts and challenges his father, asking what kind of permission she needs to pay someone a visit. He argues that Zoravar never thinks about others and directly questions if his mother isn’t allowed to step out of the house. Zoravar, irritated, instructs Param to accompany Meher to Saroj’s house and to offer any help needed. Meher gently tells him that Saroj doesn’t need anything except their presence. Ranbir offers to drop her. Arjun, trying to defuse the tension, points out that Meher rarely leaves the house anyway. Zoravar responds bitterly, sarcastically saying that everyone has turned into Meher’s admirers. He makes a sharp, classist remark about the Sens family visiting and questions their status. Then he takes a personal jab at Meher, which leaves everyone stunned and silent.

Ranbir walks downstairs and confronts Meghla, saying she should have just called him instead of giving him missed calls. Meghla, confused, says she didn’t call him at all. He lashes out at her. Chandan, already on edge, tells Meghla to apologize to Ranbir. With tears in her eyes, Meghla quietly says sorry.
