The episode opens with Ranbir and Meghla sharing a heartfelt moment, as the song Kaise Mujhe plays softly in the background. Ranbir tells Meghla that he’s going to miss her a lot—her family, and everything about this place. She asks him what he liked the most. Ranbir pauses and replies that though he’s traveled the world, what he found here is something he couldn’t find anywhere else. Curious, Meghla asks him what that is. He smiles and says he’ll keep it a secret—for now—but promises they’ll meet again. Meghla invites him to visit her home and meet her parents, to which he readily agrees. She teases that when they meet next, he must reveal what that “special gift” was. Ranbir nods and says, “Done.” She smiles and walks away.
The next morning, Ranbir, still thinking of her, decides he must see Meghla once more before leaving. Meanwhile, Adrija is searching for him. At a nearby temple, Meghla is singing Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi with heartfelt emotion. Ranbir arrives just in time to hear her voice, captivated. She turns and is surprised to see him. “You were listening?” she asks. He replies, “Yes, and if you knew I was here, you would’ve stopped singing.”
The temple priest reminds Meghla she wanted to do a puja. She nods, saying it’s for “us—Meghla and Ranbir.” Ranbir smiles softly. When asked for Gotras, Meghla gives hers. But Ranbir gently explains that his community doesn’t follow Gotras, and that the priest may take Meghla’s Gotra along with his name. She’s surprised, asking, “What?” He says it’s to strengthen their bond of friendship. The priest agrees.
Later, Meghla asks how he found her. Ranbir replies that he knows she loves visiting temples during the morning aarti, so he took a chance. She then says, “I know you’ll come home to meet Adrija.” Ranbir laughs, “I will come home, but not just for her—for you too. Tell me, won’t you wait for me?” Meghla smiles and replies, “Of course, I will.” Ranbir confesses that’s exactly what he wanted to hear. As he prepares to leave, she mentions her love for nature. He asks her what gift she would like. She declines, but he insists he made her a promise. She says she doesn’t need a gift—she knows he’ll come back, and that’s enough. He smiles and reassures her, “Yes, I will come back.” She replies, “I knew it.”
Ranbir praises her singing, saying he’s confident she’ll become a famous singer one day. Meghla humbly disagrees, saying she just wants people to like her singing. “Whenever I sing, I feel like it’s not good enough,” she admits. Ranbir tells her that every great singer has felt that way. She then tells him she had made a wish at the bridge the other day. Ranbir smiles, understanding the depth of her feelings.
