Meghla tells Ranbir that she never lies. Ranbir smiles and says he hasn’t heard her song yet. She excitedly reminds him that he’s coming over on Sunday, and that they’ve already started preparing for Durga Puja. She tells him how happy they are that his entire family will be joining them. He agrees to come and says he wants to know more about someone. Meghla quickly guesses he’s referring to Adrija and tells him that she’s doing well. Just then, Adrija walks in and asks Meghla to make her a cup of coffee. Meghla leaves the two alone, and Adrija soon gets distracted by a call. Ranbir greets her, and they exchange a few words. Adrija tells him he can call her directly next time—Meghla isn’t always with her.
Meanwhile, at home, Meher is upset and vents her frustration about Zoravar. She says he constantly taunts her over trivial things, yet no one ever stands up to him. She’s angry and hurt. Zoravar tells her to watch her tone. Balveer steps in and says Meher’s not wrong. She has raised all the kids with strong values, while the rest of them were too busy to even notice. He tells Zoravar to stop this behavior. Dadi chimes in and tells Meher that she should have discussed Ranbir’s roka with Zoravar before fixing it. Meher throws her hands up in defeat and says fine—she made a mistake. She apologizes and says she’ll call and cancel the roka the next day. She tells everyone to handle things however they want now.
Back in the conversation with Ranbir, Adrija playfully teases him for being shy. Ranbir says time will tell. Then he says he has to end the call because he sticks to a schedule and always sleeps by 10:30 PM. He believes starting the day early is important. He asks Adrija to pass the phone to Meghla again. Adrija says Meghla’s in the kitchen but then notices she’s back with the coffee. She hands the phone to Meghla, who continues chatting with Ranbir.
Back at home, Meher is still fuming. Zoravar asks her what she’s trying to prove. Meher tells him that it feels like she holds no respect or importance in the family. She says he treats her like he’s doing her a favor just by being with her, always insulting her in the process. She declares that she won’t tolerate it any longer. Zoravar shouts back, but Dadu quickly intervenes, saying that Meher has never done anything wrong—she’s always taken care of everyone.
Zoravar snaps that she only does that because her whole world is limited to this house. He says she doesn’t even know there’s a world outside. He tells everyone that he can’t even introduce her to his social circle. Meher retorts that it’s for the best—she’s not interested in his social crowd anyway.
Meanwhile, Ranbir is still talking to Meghla and gently reminds her to get enough sleep, saying it’s important for her health. Meghla explains that she wakes up early to practice singing and then goes to Guru ji’s place for training. Ranbir tells her again to sleep on time and take care of herself before ending the call.
Back at home, Param tries to calm Meher down, but she refuses, insisting that it’s not her fault. Tai ji tells Zoravar to let Meher handle the marriage preparations since they’re short on time. Simran agrees, saying she has office work to manage and someone needs to take the lead. Zoravar says he’s available but won’t be able to help if an emergency meeting comes up. Meher says that’s exactly what she’s been trying to explain—he’s too busy to even be part of the family. He says his job demands it, and he works hard so they can live a comfortable life. Meher tells him that maybe he should find a job that lets him spend time with his family, instead of always being away. She points out that when he travels abroad, he calls his mother—not her. And when he does call her, it’s just to ask what’s for dinner. That’s all their relationship has become. Zoravar coldly replies that he only asks her to do the things he knows she’s capable of.
Ranbir says goodbye to Meghla once more, reminding her to take care and sleep on time. She responds sweetly, explaining how she balances her morning practice and training sessions. He again insists that getting enough rest is important before saying good night and ending the call.
Back in the living room, Harman tries to comfort Meher, who is now in tears. Zoravar laughs at what she said earlier, but Tai ji scolds him and tells him not to drag things any further. Everyone else sides with Meher and defends her.
Suddenly, Diljot storms in, upset that no one remembered her. She cries out that Ranbir is getting married, and she too is married—her husband is still alive. She says she even dressed up nicely and asks if she looks beautiful. Everyone is stunned as she scolds Dadi. Zoravar whispers in frustration, wondering what they’ll tell the guests if they see her like this. But Diljot doesn’t hold back. She calls out Zoravar for insulting Meher every single day. Meher tries to calm her down. Just then, Ranbir returns home and finds Diljot crying. He gently consoles her.
Later, Adrija confronts Meghla and asks why Ranbir keeps calling and talking to her. Meghla says she wasn’t saying anything—she was just listening to him.
