The episode begins with Meher saying she will go and welcome the guests. Balveer asks Ranbir to check on the hotel. Ranbir replies that Balveer always does a great job. Harman mentions that Ranbir prefers roadside dhaba food. Ranbir says he is going on a vacation and has taken a 7-day leave. Balveer says they are getting older now, and asks if Ranbir will quit his job and help with the family business. Ranbir replies no, saying Balveer is still young, good-looking, and stylish. He then walks away. The family members talk about finding a bride for Ranbir.
Ranbir goes to see his grandparents. They head out together for an inauguration event. The event begins and Meghla sings. Chandan comes and gives her his blessings. He says he doesn’t understand why she stays quiet when people speak badly about her, and asks why she hides her talent. Meghla says Adrija is her elder sister and she can never feel bad about anything she says. Meghla continues singing. Ranbir says the place is very nice and suggests they all go on a family trip. Harman asks what he means, and says there’s no rule against it, but they haven’t gone on one in years, so it doesn’t seem possible. Ranbir says there’s always a first time. Param says it’s not going to happen. Ranbir says just say yes and leave the rest to him—he will convince everyone. Harman agrees and says he will watch how Ranbir manages it since the whole family is very busy.
Ranbir agrees. Harman then says that maybe Ranbir should go alone. Balveer calls Ranbir over and says he overheard everything and that Ranbir should cancel the trip idea. Param challenges that Harman won’t be able to join the trip. Harman says he will go, and adds that no one values his presence, trusts his decisions, or believes in him anymore. Ranbir says that’s not true—everyone needs him. Harman expresses his feelings. He says he was never interested in business and only studied business management because he was forced. He feels it’s pointless. Balveer says the issue is that Harman never truly appreciated the family business, which belongs to all of them. Zoravar says Harman needs to take responsibility. Harman says he doesn’t think he can manage it. His wife Simran tells him that he is capable and she doesn’t understand why he feels insecure when everyone trusts him. Harman asks if she really trusts him, even with the kids. Simran says she’s had enough. Meher walks in and says she has put Ashnoor and Aarav to bed. Harman and Simran continue arguing. Simran leaves. Harman angrily says she should quit her job. Ranbir tries to calm him down.
Ranbir then takes Harman outside for some fresh air. Balveer comments that Ranbir is mature. Zoravar smiles. Meanwhile, Param shows Meghla’s video and talks about how great her singing is. Ranbir says he doesn’t know her personally, or else he would have told him more. He hopes he gets to see Meghla again.
