The episode begins with a tense and emotional encounter as Meghla goes to meet Ranbir in the park. Ranbir, visibly nervous yet earnest, tells Meghla that he just wanted to assure her—nothing in his life will go forward against her wishes. If she doesn’t want the marriage to happen, he won’t let it. Meghla, frustrated, reminds him that she had already said all this before and questions why he had to meet her again. Ranbir looks hurt and replies that he didn’t realize she disliked him so much. She quickly clarifies that she doesn’t hate him—she actually likes him, but for Adrija, not for herself.

Ranbir challenges her, asking what makes that difference. He reveals that it’s a very important day for him—he saved a passenger’s life recently, and his airline is set to honor him with an award. Yet, he chose to meet Meghla instead, because to him, this conversation meant more. He admits he knows about the stress and turmoil in her family, as he had overheard her phone call. With empathy, he tells her he understands how much she’s hurting.
Meghla, still overwhelmed, says that all this chaos is happening because he didn’t marry Adrija. Ranbir gently but firmly replies that he has the right to choose who he loves—and she can’t stop him from having feelings. He pleads with her not to cry and asks if there’s anything he can do to make her happy. Meanwhile, at Meher’s house, Zoravar continues to dominate, refusing to apologize to Param, who has decided to leave the house to protect Meher from further taunts. Meher breaks down emotionally, telling Harman and Simran that she feels completely alone.
Back in the park, Ranbir opens his heart—he tells Meghla that from the moment he saw her, he fell in love with her. He asks her to tell him what his mistake was. But feeling cornered, Meghla insists she isn’t insulting him. Ranbir, pained, says it feels like she is. He tells her that he’ll step away from her life, even cancel the marriage proposal. Meghla worries that her father will misunderstand him. Ranbir replies that it doesn’t matter anymore. He declares that he will never meet her or her family again and hands her a card with his number, telling her to keep it in case she ever needs help.
Meghla’s walls begin to fall. She asks him to come with her to Guru ji’s place, but he refuses. She senses he’s upset. She admits, “I don’t know, I just feel hurt.” Her honesty moves him, and for the first time, a soft smile appears on his face despite the pain.
Meanwhile, back at the house, Zoravar orders Meher to change his clothes while completely ignoring her feelings. Meher sobs in silence, and Simran tries to comfort her. Param, heartbroken, tells Meher that he doesn’t want her to be insulted because of him. Meher says that love like Zoravar’s is pointless—it gives no dignity.
