Adrija is furious as she confronts her parents, accusing them of lying and cheating her. She yells at her father, calling him a liar. Chandan’s anger rises, but Dadu tries to steer the conversation, asking about Ranbir. Dadi tells him Ranbir is in his room. Dadu complains that Ranbir is foolishly chasing after that Bengali girl who already rejected him. Dadi admits they made a mistake and got confused about the situation. Meher enters the room, and Dadi mentions that Ranbir is angry and wants to talk. Dadu jokes about giving Ranbir control of the hotel, but knowing him, he’ll just say he wants to fly a plane, showing how immature he is and clueless about girls’ feelings. The argument continues heatedly.

Chandan advises Adrija not to say anything to Meghla out of anger because it could break her. He promises he will reveal the truth at the right moment. Adrija questions if they plan to arrange Meghla’s marriage based on lies. Chandan insists she won’t tell Meghla; either Mahua or he will explain everything. Adrija is upset, asking why they kept this secret from her so long, especially since Maasi already told her. Mahua replies that they didn’t think anyone needed to know since Meghla is their daughter too. The argument grows more intense.
Meanwhile, Harman complains about having to dance at Ranbir’s wedding. Simran says the wedding will take time to happen. Kamal says Ranbir always does whatever he wants, and Balveer admits they all assumed Ranbir would marry Adrija.
Dadu asks Harman to call Ranbir, and Harman leaves to do so. Chandan bitterly says Meghla is just a puppet for Adrija, that Adrija finds joy in insulting Meghla and making her cry. Mahua urges them to end this, reminding them Meghla is nearby and could hear everything. Adrija snaps back, asking if Meghla will die if she hears it, but what about her feelings? Why should she stay silent? Ranbir arrives and Dadu scolds him for disrespecting the family. Ranbir says he never agreed to marry Meghla.
Adrija breaks down, saying she’ll leave the city because she feels Meghla is the real daughter here. Mahua tells her no, Ranbir is proud of her. Chandan asks Adrija to be kind. Mahua pleads for her to stop causing trouble. Adrija continues to argue. Chandan explains that if Meghla finds out the truth, she might leave, and all the love and effort they’ve given her to help her fit in would be lost. Adrija insists Meghla won’t leave; where would she go?
Dadu bluntly says Meghla won’t be able to live here, she won’t fit in with them. He worries that if Ranbir insults the family, it will hurt him deeply. Ranbir defends himself, asking when he ever hurt them, and says it’s only fair to choose his life partner. Dadi laments how everyone is mocking them. Harman and Simran admit they were also confused. Dadu then declares he has found a perfect Punjabi girl for Ranbir to marry, shocking Ranbir.
