The episode begins with Chandan introducing Ranbir to Guru ji. Guru ji warmly asks Ranbir his name, and Ranbir shyly replies, “Ranbir Singh Bajwa.” Adrija jokes that she would have made special arrangements if she had known Ranbir was going to sing today. Ranbir says he wanted to surprise Meghla. Adrija smiles and says he surprises everyone.
Guru ji thoughtfully wonders if Meghla, who shares the same surname Bajwa, might be living happily here with her family. Ranbir talks about his Bua, Diljot Bajwa, who also loves singing and learnt from a teacher. Guru ji happily says the whole family will come to the Ashirwad function tomorrow. Ranbir hopes Bua ji will be in a good mood and maybe sing a song too, inviting Guru ji to come. Meghla assures he will come.
As it gets late, Ranbir says goodbye and starts to leave. Guru ji says he will take his leave too since he only eats one meal a day. Meghla tries to convince him to come early tomorrow and asks if he has taken his blood pressure medicine. Guru ji smiles and says not to worry, he will come if he feels well. Meghla is concerned but hopeful.
Guru ji quietly thinks about Ranbir’s past and wonders if the Bajwa family had opposed Ranbir’s marriage. Meghla talks about the wedding plans with Diljot. Ranbir says goodbye and promises to come tomorrow. Adrija holds his hand playfully, and they exchange compliments before he leaves. Meghla heads to meet Mahua, thinking about Ranbir.
Meanwhile, the ladies are excited and say they will attend tomorrow’s function. Mahua asks Chandan to watch Adrija’s upcoming performance. Meghla mentions Adrija will come late, but Ranbir promised to come early. The ladies praise Ranbir, but Adrija scolds Meghla sharply.
Chandan explains that Ranbir sang on stage only because he was persuaded, and he sang well since he knew the song. Adrija argues and tells Meghla not to sing tomorrow. Meghla agrees but looks worried later at night, thinking about Adrija’s harsh words. Chandan asks her what’s wrong, sensing her worry.
