Harman mocks Simran for her choice and says that her boss is forcing her. Simran tells him to stop saying such things. Their kids come in and ask Harman why he’s being rude to Simran. Simran sends the children inside. Then she complains to her mother-in-law and Mehar about how Harman always blames her. She also says that Harman doesn’t like her working, and reminds everyone that she has reached this point through her own hard work. Harman continues to make fun of her, which upsets Simran even more. Both Mehar and Harman’s mother tell him to calm down. But Harman makes another bad comment, so Simran warns him again. Ranbir tries to calm them both, but Simran becomes upset with his advice. She asks him what he would do if Nimmy were in her place. Param steps in and tells Simran that they consider her their own sister. Ranbir also tries to explain things to her. Simran gets so angry that she threatens to separate from Harman if he doesn’t change. Everyone becomes worried.
Meanwhile, Meghla is making arrangements at the venue for Adrija’s birthday. Her father comes there and asks her why she is still doing everything even after how badly Adrija treated her. Meghla tells him not to worry and says she didn’t take Adrija’s words to heart. Her father praises her for that and says the decorations look beautiful. He says he hopes Adrija likes everything too. Then he gives some instructions to the workers and leaves with Meghla.
At the Bajwa house, Mehar tells Simran calmly that Harman had been waiting to eat with her since morning. That’s why he was upset. Ranbir also tries to explain the same to her. But Simran feels hurt and says that maybe it’s her fault, not Harman’s. Ranbir realizes she misunderstood, so he explains that they’re just trying to help both of them handle the situation peacefully. He suggests that Simran and Harman should eat together. But Harman refuses and says he’s not hungry anymore, then walks off. Simran stays behind, still feeling angry and sad.
Later, Ranbir is with Param, Nimmy, and Diljot. Nimmy says she wants to buy a flower bouquet for her friend’s birthday party. Param says he’ll get it for her, but Nimmy wants to come along. Diljot also asks to go with them. Param says that Ranbir will bring the bouquet instead. Diljot remembers how her husband used to give her yellow flowers every day, so Ranbir promises to buy yellow flowers for her. Diljot feels very happy.
Ranbir goes to buy the yellow flower bouquet. While he is away, Diljot keeps talking about her late husband. Nimmy says something about the story, which hurts Diljot’s feelings. Diljot starts crying and creates a scene, asking to see Ranbir. He returns and asks what happened. Diljot complains about Nimmy’s comment, but Param defends her. Ranbir calms Diljot and goes to pick up the yellow roses. Just then, Meghla arrives. She thinks to herself that yellow roses are her and Adrija’s favorite. She tells the shopkeeper to give her a bouquet of yellow roses. But Ranbir tells her from behind that he already bought it. Meghla turns to look, and Ranbir gets completely lost looking at her. He wonders why he is feeling this way.
