Ranbir tells Meghla that she’s going to miss him and feel sad. Meghla quickly disagrees and says they’ll meet again. Ranbir agrees, but he reminds her that what they’ve shared here—the moments, the memories—won’t come back the same way. Meghla admits he’s right, but says they’re all leaving tomorrow anyway. Ranbir pauses, then makes a small request: he tells her that she tends to get lost in thought when walking and that it could lead to an accident. He asks her to promise she’ll take care of herself. Just then, Adrija arrives and is visibly annoyed to see them together. She walks up to them and tells Meghla to head to the resort. Meghla agrees and is about to leave when the pandit arrives and hands over prasad from the puja. Ranbir thanks him, and Meghla offers the prasad to Ranbir.
Adrija tries to stop her, saying her hands are dirty. Ranbir gently defends her, saying her hands aren’t dirty at all. He then asks Meghla to feed him the prasad. Adrija refuses to eat it, but Ranbir reminds her that the puja was done in his name too. Adrija brushes it off and says she’ll have it later. Meghla says she’ll first give it to her parents, but Ranbir insists she should eat some. Adrija tells him not to force her. Ranbir looks at Meghla and softly asks if she won’t eat even for his sake. Reluctantly, Meghla eats it, and he thanks her with a smile. Adrija then asks if he’ll come to the resort, and he assures her he won’t leave without meeting her parents. As they walk, Meghla stumbles on the stairs. Ranbir immediately rushes to catch her. Music plays in the background.
He checks if she’s okay and tells her she needs to be more careful. Meghla explains she just didn’t see the steps. Adrija scolds her for not watching where she was going, but adds that at least Ranbir was there to catch her. Meghla says she’s fine and walks off.
Adrija turns to Ranbir and asks if he’ll visit her house. Ranbir says he will and that his family might come too. She brightens up at this and says she’ll miss him. He replies that he’ll soon be busy with his job again once he’s back.
Ranbir returns home and calls out for his mother, Meher. She excitedly welcomes him back, saying her son has finally come home. She mentions that they should start talking about his marriage now. Harman asks if it’s really Ranbir, and Ranbir walks in with a big smile, saying yes, he’s back. He hugs Harman and tells him the trip was great. Meher embraces her son, and Dadu joins in to ask how the trip went. Ranbir says it was beautiful and suggests that Dadu and Dadi should visit the place too. Dadu jokes that those days are behind them now. Meher teases him, saying he always finds time for trips to America and London, but says he’s too old when it’s an Indian destination. Dadu laughs and says he plans a foreign trip every year.
Soon, Param joins and hugs Ranbir as well. Zoravar teases Meher about how protective she is over Ranbir. Balveer steps in and says it’s only natural for a mother to be worried. Meher retorts that fathers should worry about their children too. Zoravar, still joking, says that doesn’t mean they have to become overly protective. He takes a jab at her, saying she grew up around Bengalis, who he thinks are cowardly by nature, and asks if anyone’s ever heard of a brave Bengali. Ranbir steps in and calmly responds that everyone is raised differently and that everyone carries some fear. His mind drifts back to Meghla, and a soft smile spreads across his face.
