The episode begins with Adrija and Meghla locked in a heated argument. Mahua arrives and tries to lighten the mood, reminding them about the incident at the community hall. She mentions how Adrija’s father left her alone at the party and questions why the two girls are fighting again. Adrija presses Meghla to explain herself, while Mahua looks on, confused. Adrija angrily accuses Meghla of constantly talking to Ranbir and calls her shameless for following him around, especially after he had just told Adrija that he wanted to speak to Meghla. Despite Meghla’s denial, Adrija storms off in frustration.
Meanwhile, Ranbir is with Harman and Param, who tease him about his love life. Simran joins in, and the three joke around, dubbing Ranbir’s romantic adventures “Pahaadi Prem.” Ranbir plays along and laughs. Just then, he gets a call from Adrija. She tries to flirt with him, asking about his favorite color, but he brushes it off. She insists, and he finally says “pink,” before asking if Meghla is with her. Adrija lies, saying Meghla isn’t around, but it’s clear Ranbir only wants to talk to her. He ends the call, and Adrija is visibly upset.
The next morning, during breakfast, Adrija tries to talk to Mahua, who is still upset over the previous day’s fight. Adrija expresses regret and reveals she recently learned a painful truth. She confronts Mahua, questioning Meghla’s place in their family and why she was brought into their home in the first place.
She angrily claims that Meghla always wants whatever she has. Mahua tries to stop her, but Chandan steps in to scold Adrija. He defends Meghla, saying she doesn’t want to become like Adrija.
Mahua, overwhelmed, decides to reveal the truth. She explains that Adrija had suffered from a mental health issue as a child—she constantly craved attention and had frequent outbursts of anger. A doctor had recommended that having a sibling might help her condition. But when Mahua’s health declined and she couldn’t conceive again, they chose to adopt Meghla. Mahua says they never once regretted bringing Meghla home and insists that she is truly a part of their family.
