Adrija is seen chatting with some girls, looking cheerful. Mahua notices and comments that she’s already made friends here too. Meanwhile, Meghla begins to sing the song Tu Jahaan, and her voice catches Ranbir’s attention. He follows the sound and watches her sing with a smile on his face. Everyone around claps for Meghla, clearly impressed. However, Adrija feels jealous seeing the praise Meghla receives. Dadi remarks that Meghla’s life might have been better if they had arranged her remarriage—she could’ve had a family of her own. Simran, however, disagrees and says that true happiness comes from being with someone you truly love, not just having a house full of people.
Tai ji agrees with Simran and says she feels sad for Diljot, as he fell in love with someone the family would never approve of. Dadi recalls how they enrolled Diljot in music school because she loved music, but she ended up falling for a rising star. Ranbir, still smiling, says he owes Meghla a gift. Meghla politely declines, saying it’s not necessary.
The girls around request Meghla to sing again. Adrija quickly steps in and says Meghla didn’t come here to give a performance. Ranbir casually says he doesn’t mind if Meghla sings again. Another girl insists and says just one more song. Meghla notices Adrija’s discomfort and says maybe next time. Chandan also encourages her to sing, but Adrija repeats that it’s getting late and they need to explore the city. Mahua agrees and says that was their reason for coming. Ranbir praises the lovely weather and Meghla’s beautiful voice, thanking them for the experience. Tai ji goes back to the family conversation and says how difficult it was for their father to accept the truth about Diljot. Everyone feels emotional.
Meher says Diljot’s love was strong and tears up. Chandan thanks everyone and asks them to bless Meghla so she can achieve her dreams. A man in the crowd says Meghla sings very well and requests her again. Adrija again insists they’re getting late, and Meghla agrees, saying she won’t sing now. Mahua thanks everyone for liking Meghla’s performance and says they can plan another singing session later since they’re staying here.
Elsewhere, Harman starts coughing and asks for hot water. Meher brings it to him and says she’ll make a herbal drink (kada) to help. Harman jokes that he doesn’t need any kada, just her homemade aloo parathas, which will make him feel better. Param joins the conversation and says she’s already made them. Harman smiles and asks how Param always knows everything. Meher says that elders can sense everything about the kids. She hands him the hot water and tells him to drink it. Harman says his mom never has time for him. Meher explains that his mother is a college principal and has many responsibilities.
She adds that she herself doesn’t have a job and is only focused on the house. It was part of the marriage agreement that Zoravar made—he didn’t want her working. Harman says his mom also faced something similar, but his dad always supported her. Meher says that’s why she has her own identity. She didn’t know what to do after Zoravar told her not to work. Meanwhile, Adrija scolds Meghla for something, clearly frustrated.
