The family gathers for the Lohri puja. Amidst the rituals, Adrija notices Ranbir and Meghla together, her eyes burning with envy. She pulls Zoravar aside, confiding her feelings. Zoravar, with empathy, tells her he understands the ache of one-sided love and admits he knows how far she has gone just to win Ranbir’s heart. While speaking, his gaze shifts to Meher, hinting at his own buried emotions.
Later, Meghla approaches Guru ji, her heart heavy with conflict. She asks why he pushed her into this situation when she had clearly said she didn’t want this marriage. She confesses she cannot accept happiness at the cost of Adrija’s pain. Guru ji calmly tells her to take it as a sign from the Lord, reminding her that Ranbir deserved to know the truth, and it was his duty to tell him. He explains that Adrija’s greatest mistake was hiding behind lies.
Chandan joins them, his voice firm yet tender. He tells Meghla she cannot punish Ranbir for someone else’s mistakes. Ranbir, he says, loves her more than his own life, and as her father, he can clearly see that she feels the same way. Guru ji supports him, urging Meghla not to bury her true emotions. He asks her directly—if Ranbir were to marry Adrija, would her heart not ache? Meghla breaks down, admitting she feels lost and doesn’t know what to do.
Chandan comforts her, insisting he won’t let Ranbir’s life be ruined. He gives her permission for the marriage, but Meghla protests, calling it unfair to Adrija. Guru ji challenges her reasoning, asking why Adrija’s broken alliance should hold her back from embracing her own love. Chandan reminds her that Adrija is the one who broke her heart, not the other way around. Meghla, torn by loyalty to her elder sister, refuses to betray her. Guru ji warns that even if she steps away, Ranbir will never go back to Adrija. Chandan pleads with her not to shatter Ranbir’s heart too. Guru ji tells her to be honest with herself and choose wisely for her life. Chandan concludes firmly that this marriage must happen and formally invites Guru ji, who agrees to stay.
Meghla’s voice trembles as she worries that Adrija will never forgive her. She questions whether she can truly keep Ranbir happy. Chandan challenges her, asking if pleasing Adrija is worth punishing Ranbir. He reminds her that Ranbir’s love has value, and he deserves her honesty. Guru ji urges Meghla to listen to her heart, to stop drowning in guilt and sorrow. Meghla, still uncertain, whispers that she has no answer. Guru ji replies that the answer is simple—her heart has already chosen Ranbir, and now he waits only for her “yes.” Chandan tells her to go and speak her feelings openly to him.
At that moment, Diljot arrives and gently pulls Meghla along. She asks Meghla to sing for everyone. Blushing, Meghla says she will sing for Ranbir, and her soulful voice fills the room with Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha. Ranbir listens with shining eyes, his face glowing with joy.
Chandan then takes Meghla’s hand and places it into Ranbir’s. The family claps, celebrating the union. But in the shadows of the night, Adrija is consumed by despair. She rummages through a drawer, searching for pills, her thoughts dark. With bitterness, she declares she cannot watch Meghla marry Ranbir the next day and vows to stop the wedding at any cost.
