The episode begins with Ranbir’s sister telling Meher about the upcoming party. Ranbir says he promised Bua that he would take her for a drive, and adds that he’ll still drop Meher at the party and pick her up afterwards. Meher hugs him. Dadi asks if Ranbir can manage Bua on his own. Param says he’ll go along with Ranbir. But Ranbir assures them that Bua behaves well when she’s with him and tells them not to worry. Dadi says she’s more worried about Diljot. She recalls how Diljot’s father and brothers didn’t let her get married, and how she had big dreams about having a family. Dadi expresses her fear about the situation.
Meanwhile, Chandan offers Rasmalai to Meghla. Meghla says she’ll eat it later. Mahua asks for some coconut water. Meghla then tries to eat a bite from Adrija’s bowl. Adrija gets angry and scolds her. Chandan comments that Adrija has no manners and tells Meghla to ignore her. Adrija begins crying and blames Meghla for everything. Mahua tells Adrija not to cry since it’s her birthday. But Adrija continues to shout at Meghla and walks away. Elsewhere, Dada ji scolds Diljot. She argues back. Ranbir and others arrive. Ranbir tells Dada ji to stop. Dada ji complains that Diljot hit him and claims she threatened to get free and kill him. Meher tries to calm him and tells him not to take her words seriously. Dada ji angrily declares that she will remain locked up in the house forever.
Diljot confronts him and asks why he took away her sindoor and her child. Ranbir tries to calm her down and then asks Dada ji to explain what really happened. Dada ji denies the accusations and says she is making up stories. Ranbir then turns to Bua and asks if she is telling the truth. Bua confirms it and says the others are lying. Ranbir hugs her as she cries.
Meher brings food and tells Harman to eat. Taiji says that Simran called earlier and said she would come at night, so Harman should eat something. But Harman refuses. Param adds that Harman hasn’t eaten anything since morning. Ranbir asks Meher to bring tomato soup for him. Harman refuses again. Ranbir tells him if he’s sick, he’ll call the doctor. Harman tells him not to interfere. Simran returns home and says she already had lunch at work. Harman starts arguing with her.
Ranbir tries to stop Harman from saying anything hurtful. Harman says Simran will never change unless he stops eating. He throws taunts at her. Simran gets angry and says she won’t tolerate his bad behavior anymore and threatens to file for divorce. Meanwhile, Mahua scolds Meghla for upsetting Adrija. Meghla says she didn’t want her dad to get upset with Adrija. Mahua tries to comfort Meghla as she starts crying.
