Saras And Kumud 10th August 2025 Written Update Starlife
Saras is on a call with the rental agent, frustrated over the NOC issue. He scolds the agent for not warning them about the requirement and says they were foolish to believe his bad idea. The agent, trying to calm things down, says he’ll speak to the secretary and walks away. Meanwhile, Kabir and Anushka bump into each other and her phone drops, breaking on the spot. She angrily blames him, and Kabir retorts with sarcastic comments about how long her project is going to take. She says she doesn’t know but she’s here to stay. Their bickering intensifies until she storms off. Kabir fumes and thinks to himself that he needs to do something to make her leave. He decides a good scare is the answer—something that’ll send her running back to Mumbai. A cockroach might just do the trick.

Back with Saras, the agent returns and says the secretary isn’t budging. Saras thanks him for trying and tells him to leave. Disappointed, he vents to Kumud that people here are unhelpful and that life was so much simpler in Ratnagiri. Kumud gently calms him down. Just then, Saras receives a call from his travel agent, Shastri, who invites him to his son’s mundan ceremony. Saras declines, saying they’re in Mumbai now, but it strikes him—maybe Shastri has a copy of their marriage certificate. When Shastri confirms he has a scanned copy on his computer, Saras immediately asks him to email it. Overjoyed, he tells Kumud the problem might finally be solved.
Meanwhile, Kabir continues with his ridiculous plan. He searches every corner of the house for a cockroach but finds none. Desperate, he realizes the one place left to look is Anushka’s room. He walks in, disgusted by how pink and overly girly everything is. He mutters to himself, blaming her constant chatter for scaring even the cockroaches away. Elsewhere, Saras gets the marriage certificate via email and calls the secretary. He assures the man that this time it’s real, not like the fake studio photos. The secretary agrees to give them the NOC. Saras excitedly tells Kumud and calls Prashant to ask when they can collect their things. Prashant says he’s out at a meeting but offers to cancel it. Saras declines and says they’ll come in the evening instead.
Kumud wonders what they’ll do until then. Saras smiles and suggests some Mumbai sightseeing. She guesses his plan correctly—Mumbai darshan—and he affectionately calls her smart. As they leave, Kabir is still on his mission, tiptoeing around Anushka’s room, searching for any creepy-crawly he can find. He glares at her photo and mocks her in his head, irritated by her very presence.
Back in Ratnagiri, the family is gathered in the living room. Vidyachatur is narrating ghost stories. Anushka, wide-eyed, listens nervously. Danny catches Kabir sneaking around and asks what he’s doing. Kabir tries to play it off, first saying he’s looking for a cockroach, but quickly changes it to a phone. Anushka is suspicious. Kabir casually joins them, grinning as Vidyachatur continues with stories of a ghost that used to roam at night saying “Jaagte Raho.” Anushka gets even more uneasy. Danny tries to reassure her that ghosts aren’t real, but she insists otherwise. Kabir watches her closely and concludes that she’s absolutely terrified of ghosts—exactly the weakness he needed.
Meanwhile, Saras and Kumud enjoy the sights of Mumbai. Kumud admires the bustling energy and remarks on how hard everyone works. She suddenly says she’s hungry. Saras asks her what she wants to eat, and she remembers Anushka mentioning panipuri. They stop by a street vendor and dig in. Kumud mischievously pretends to choke on a spicy bite, sending Saras into a panic. When she bursts out laughing, he gets upset and tells her not to make jokes like that. Seeing he’s genuinely bothered, she softly approaches him to make peace. Later, they sit by the sea, soaking in the calm waves. Saras takes photos of her as she enjoys the moment, and then they click some together. They stroll through local markets, relishing every minute of the day.
While shopping, Saras momentarily disappears. Kumud panics and starts looking around, calling out for him. When he returns with a gift in his hand, she breathes a sigh of relief and lightly hits him for scaring her. He smiles, and the tension melts away.
