Saras And Kumud 13th August 2025 Written Update Starlife
The episode begins with Prashant arriving to meet Kumud and Saras. Kumud greets him warmly, but he quickly notices the small black spots on her neck and stares for a moment. Trying to make casual conversation, he says he came to discuss the electricity bill. Kumud tells him she’ll let him know once it arrives and invites him in for tea. As he steps inside, she nearly slips, and he warns her to be careful. She asks him to sit, and as he looks around the house, he starts questioning her about her past. Kumud tells him she used to teach at a school in Ratnagiri.

Prashant remarks that she must find it boring here now, but she replies that there’s plenty to do at home. He asks if she enjoys cooking, and when she says yes, he presses further, wanting to know what she can make. She confidently answers that she can make everything. When he specifically asks about Rava Kheer, she says she knows how and will give him some when she makes it. She heads off to bring tea, leaving him to notice her bangles lying on the table. He stares at them with a smile. Elsewhere, Anushka is busy teasing Kabir. He tells her to stop bothering him, but she smirks and says the game has just begun. Kabir corners her against the wall, giving her a stern look and warning her not to threaten him. She playfully asks, “Or else?” and he leans closer, but she suddenly calls out “Aunty!” and pushes him away before locking herself in her room. Kabir demands she open the door.
Saras soon returns home and finds Prashant there. After greeting him, Saras sits to chat, but Prashant says he has a dentist appointment and leaves, declining tea. Saras tells Kumud that Prashant mentioned urgent work, and she brings him tea. Saras compliments her tea-making skills and says Prashant seems like a good man. Kumud asks about his meeting, and Saras says it went well.
Meanwhile, Kabir is still irritated by Anushka. Taking off his shirt, he pours water from the well over himself. Anushka sees him and laughs. Danny arrives and learns that Kabir had scared her by pretending to be a ghost, so she got revenge. Danny shakes his head at their childishness and urges them to sort it out. Anushka taunts Kabir again, asking if the water was cold. In response, he pours a bucket of water over her and walks away, leaving her fuming. Later, Kumud asks Saras to bring a bulb for the lamp. Saras says he’ll get it tomorrow, joking they can have a candlelight dinner tonight. She insists it will only take five minutes, but he complains he’s tired. After she walks away, he sprays water on his face and pretends he went out to buy one. Kumud notices the lamp already working and realizes he simply swapped it with the balcony bulb. She scolds him, but he says it doesn’t matter since they’ll be here, not outside. Kumud reminds him that work shouldn’t be delayed.
Just then, the doorbell rings. A man from a car agency arrives, saying Saras had called for a test drive. Kumud sees the picture of a small car and is surprised because Saras wanted a big one. Saras explains that he chose it because she liked small cars. Another salesman then arrives, saying Kumud had called for an SUV test drive. Kumud insists Saras’s choices are always right, but then changes her mind, saying they should go with the SUV. Saras laughs and agrees.
Elsewhere, the family is laughing over Kabir and Anushka’s petty fight. Anushka joins them and hands Kabir a kitchen item she had repaired, earning praise from Guniyal. Kabir starts suspecting they are all in on a plan against him. Back with Saras and Kumud, they continue debating the car choice, finally agreeing on the SUV. Saras says he’s tired and suggests sleeping, but Kumud insists they first arrange the cupboard. As she unpacks clothes, she looks for a dupatta and remembers keeping it in a bag. The scene shifts to Prashant, who is creepily holding her dupatta, touching it, and smiling to himself.
Later, Anushka brings medicines for Vidyachatur, brushing off the idea that it matters whether she or Yash brings them. Guniyal praises her for being thoughtful, and Yash’s mother even says she will make a good daughter-in-law one day. Guniyal agrees, saying the man who marries her will be lucky. But Anushka firmly says she’s not ready for marriage, explaining that even her mother failed to convince her. Kabir, overhearing, suspects this is all part of a scheme to trap him.
That night, Kumud tells Saras she didn’t get to speak to her family. Saras reminds her that he’s there with her, but she says parents are always missed. Back at her family home, Vidyachatur and Guniyal are also missing them. Kumud messages them, and they happily call her. They catch up, and Badimaa tells Saras and Kumud about Kabir and Anushka’s ghost-and-itching-powder prank. Everyone laughs, including Saras, who thanks Anushka for making Kabir act like a mischievous child again.

Prashant asks Kumud what happened. She explains that she stepped outside and the door got locked by the wind. He offers to call a keymaker and suggests she come to his house in the meantime. Kumud refuses, saying she’ll wait there, but he insists she come with him.
