Saras thanks him, praising the taste, and then comments on how Mumbai’s traffic is impossible—time flies in the city before you even realize it. As he chats with his staff, Kumud glances at the clock at home and sighs; it’s only 10 a.m., and she already feels the day stretching endlessly ahead.

Elsewhere, Kabir knocks at a locked door, asking Anushka to open it. She refuses, panic in her voice, and tries to reach Kusum on the phone—but there’s no answer. “Who am I supposed to tell? Oh God, please help,” she mutters. Kabir insists he’s hungry, but she’s convinced he’s dangerous. “I know you’re thirsty for someone’s blood,” she tells him, refusing to open. Back at home, Kumud tries to distract herself, tending to the plants on the balcony. Prashant, whose meeting got canceled, decides to work from home. From his balcony, he spots Kumud talking to her plants, telling them they’re her friends and encouraging them to grow. She laughs, saying she’ll share her poetry if they’ll share their songs, and Prashant watches her with quiet fascination, his gaze lingering on the four black dots on her neck.
Anushka, growing desperate, calls Vidyachatur to ask about Danny. He tells her Danny is in a meeting and wants to know why she’s so worried. She hesitates, knowing the truth might shock him, but finally blurts out that Kabir is planning something no one knows about. When Vidyachatur presses her, she says Kabir owns a gun. Kumud tries calling Saras, who is buried in meetings and business calls. Each time she starts to speak, something pulls his attention away. She waits patiently on the line, hearing him instruct staff about proposals, corporate gifts, and client relations. Hours pass. Meanwhile, Anushka finally sees Danny and Kusum arrive home. She rushes to them, insisting Kabir is planning to kill someone. Danny and Vidyachatur brush it off, convinced she’s mistaken. Anushka insists she saw the gun and knife herself. They tease her, suggesting she might have been under the influence, but she stands firm. She’s locked Kabir in a room to stop him, she says, and drags them upstairs—only to find the room empty. Kabir has escaped through the window, smirking to himself.
At the office, Saras finally realizes it’s 3 p.m. and he’s kept Kumud on hold all this time. By now, she has drifted off to sleep with the phone in her hand.Back at home, tension rises as Danny insists Anushka is overreacting. Kusum tries to calm her, but Anushka refuses to stay quiet if Kabir is about to commit murder. She vows to find proof.
Meanwhile, the guard at the gate helps a couple with their luggage. The man, Mahesh, learns from the guard that Prashant has rented out a flat. Curious, Mahesh sends his wife home and confronts Prashant about it. Prashant hands him a file containing the tenant’s details. Mahesh’s eyes widen when he sees Kumud’s photograph—realizing she’s the reason for the rental. Anushka then hears someone crying out for help nearby, shouting not to be killed. Covering her ears, she fears she’s already too late. At that moment, Kumud debates where to hang a picture frame. She walks to a wall Prashant once forbade them from using. Puzzled, she wonders why, suspecting there’s a hidden reason. Her eyes suddenly widen at what she sees. She turns and runs, calling out for Saras.
Kabir appears in front of her, asking why she’s there. She says she came to stop him from killing anyone. He demands to know what she’s seen or heard. When she says she heard someone shouting, he raises a gun to her head. She pleads with him, reminding him of his good family and urging him to let go of whatever plan he has. But he says there’s no turning back. She offers to help him instead, but he warns her to stay away, insisting she doesn’t understand what it’s like to live among criminals. He walks off, leaving her shaken.
Kumud calls the guard, telling him there’s something on the wall. Prashant and Mahesh arrive, with Mahesh angrily telling Prashant he’s made a big mistake renting out the flat. Kumud repeats that there’s something unusual on the wall. Prashant exchanges a glance with Mahesh before asking her exactly what she means.
